Hi, I’m fellow Shaman enthusiast, I’m playing since beta test. I’m usually playing near high legend, last month I was able to finish top-100.

This deck idea is optimising vsmeta suggestion to put Phaoris in the deck. First of all cut their ten 7+ drops into eight or deck would be unplayable with such curve. You simply draw 7-8-7 vs aggro and it’s over. Swampqueen Hagatha and second Earthquake didn’t make the cut. Yes, it’s make King Phaoris weaker, but arguably at the time you will have time to play Phaoris, you will waste Earthquakes anyway. So he is more like Hagatha the Witch support value card.

Then I cut both EVIL Totem because I belive it’s too slow even for control, SN1P-SN4P, 1 Hex since we have 2 plagues and 2 Far Sight since it’s perfomance are proven to be too random and you don’t want to skip turn 3-4 with my build. This card don’t draw – because it’s 1 card for 1 card without board pressure,so it recycle deck, and it’s main weakness of it. What do you want to see for 3 mana at control deck is something like Mage’s Arcane Intellect.

What we have here is decent early game due to Sandstorm ElementalWeaponized Wasp and Half-Time Scavenger. Our main goal is stabilize vs aggro, we won control warrior match ups anyway. Like any control deck it need adapt to meta, so it’s not complete deck, more like raw material to work at. It’s also luck of proactive draw like Countess Ashmore, so it’s plenty of work to do here. 4-mana spot is most flexible, so we can try to fit something in.

As always, feel free to comment and criticize.
