The idea behind this deck is to replace the cavern shiny finders with the new card Raiding Party allowing you to run Prince Keleseth in the 2 drop slot. I have been playing a deck similar to this in the legend ladder recently and think it has a chance of being a real deck.
This deck runs lots of small synergistic packages to try to pull ahead on tempo, I will talk about each package below and my reasons for its inclusion plus other possible cards.
Pirate: a core part of the new card raiding party is the draw 2 pirates and you will always want to be getting full value out of all your cards. The pirate pool is currently very limited and these cards are slightly below the deck’s average card quality however hopefully there synergies can make up for it.
Southsea Deckhand Southsea Captain Dread Corsair . The core pirates of the deck, deckhand is great for combos and pushing damage, dread corsair is a great defensive card when tempo’d out with necrium blade and captain is just the only strong pirate left plus great synergy with the next card.
Captain Hooktusk might be a meme card but I think it could be a great tool for regaining control of the board in very board reliant matchups like zoo, odd rouge etc. however, I worry that there might not be quite enough pirates for her to be reliable, ill have to play it to find out but I would rather not put some of the weaker pirates into the deck.
Corpsetaker Package: Corpsetaker, Zilliax, Argent Squire, Stormwatcher, The corpsetaker package is a very versatile and powerful one. the windfury in conjunction with cold blood provides a very real offensive threat, while the lifesteal and taunt provide some forgiveness to losing the board early. All of the other minions while annoying to draw are also powerful in their own right.
Deathrattle Package: Necrium Blade, Devilsaur Egg, Blightnozzle Crawler, Mechanical Whelp, this is the package that will carry you in the control and midrange mathups. same as the old deathrattle package however with no Carnivorous Cube or Necrium Vial. This is because cubes deathrattle does not work with Da Undatakah, with less deathrattles this makes necrium vial less reliable in deck already stacked with threats.
Strong cards: Prince Keleseth very powerful in a minion heavy deck like this, tried to fit in Saronite Chain Gang for more synergy. Hench-Clan Thug with only 1 two-drop you willl be daggering a lot on turn 2 making Thug a very powerful inclusion.
That’s it for the Description, this deck is likely far from refined but a glimpse at a possible future for death rattle rouge. Thanks for checking it out and have a look my other decks.
stormwatcher lol
Eh it was used back when 7-mana-Bonemare and tempo rogue were tier 1. There are just no good windfury minions outside shaman so you consider stormwatcher or windfury harpy (mainly for even decks) usually.
