The Dankest Paladin in the Meta
What’s popping guys back with another tier 1 metabreaker. Lemme appeal to you real quick. Immortal Prelate. Recurring Villain. Imagine dunking on your opponent in swift fashion with this deck. Convinced? I know. It sounds to good to be true (because it is).
Anyways, let’s hop in to this deck guide.
Gameplan
Generally, your tying to fetch your power cards, Recurring Villain and Immortal Prelate off the mulligan. Crystology is a excellent tool. If you are likely facing Aggro, Paragon of Light with a buff and Consecration should hold up fairly well. Healing is very prevalent in the deck, if you can stall out enough to gas the opponent’s aggression, healing will help a ton. A single Zandalar Templar should seal the game by that point.
Against control decks, Recurring Villain is you main win condition. It is important to continue to revive it to put it into the deathrattle pool for Da Untakah. Da Undatakah should summon itself or shuffle itself into your deck. A large Immortal Prelate with lifesteal from Lightforged Blessing can outheal bombs in some cases as well.
The Villainous Act
Let’s talk about Recurring Villain some more. Several buffs allow you to keep this guy alive. Glow stone Technician buffs Recurring Villain to more than 4 attack immediately, so he’ll stick once he’s played. Defender of Argus is an incredible defensive shoutout tool and can push aggression as well. Sound the Bells! is a great buff for Recurring Villain and just about any minion. It is excellent for pushing damage. Lastly, Sword of Justice provides an excellent curve if it sticks. It buffs you villain to 4 attack right of the bat so you have no need to fret about buffing it.
