General Mulligans

basically, you to be able to contest the board in some way during the first 4 turns, or else the sheer number of minions played by your opponent can rush you down or overwhelm your high cost fatties who can only swing once per turn (except the windfury harpy)

This deck is for the Clash of the Minions tavern brawl

This deck is no where near perfect, as I threw this together with only the cards I have and didnt think too much about it. given the proper resources, this deck would likely be improved by replacing many of the cards with better equivalents. Either way, I am currently on a 10 game winning streak with the deck list shown.

The entire concept of this deck is to survive until turn 4, at which point you can overwhelm your opponent by playing minions with 7 attack that they simply cannot ignore. you will make many bad trades and lose damage with the current deck, but it is ok because almost half of the entire deck has 7 attack or higher. use cards like nerubian egg, dancing swords, emperor cobra, and raging worgen to force trades that are either favorable or leave your opponent vulnerable to a big turn 4 ancient shade or eerie statue. at that point, keep the board relatively clear, but depending on circumstances go for face. cards like eerie statue, feugen, venture co. mercenary, and captured jormungar are extremely inconvenient for your opponent to get rid of, meanwhile cards like salty dog, stalagg, and venture co. mercenary excel at trading big minions. Mogor’s champion will usually either clear an enemy taunt minion (usually only one if you have kept good board control) or hit the enemy for 8 face damage, which puts a lot of pressure. the only card in this deck i really have had no use for is Arch-Thief Rafaam, i honestly could see him being swapped out for Foe-reaper 9000 (if i had it) or even a dark sea kraken. the hardest part of this game will be surviving the early game with some semblance of board control. this deck relies on fat attack minions for hard removal, but in certain circumstances a spellbreaker can serve as a decent way of nulifying 2 threats early on.

If there are any common / basic cards that you think fit better than some of the cards i have selected, please let me know! My goal was to create a relatively low cost deck that will allow you fun times in the current tavern brawl gamemode, clash of the minions.
