You want either brann or tamsin in your starting hand both is risky but can pay off if it's not an aggro deck.

Runed Mitrhil Rod is a great card to have if you have to coin to play it on turn 4. In aggro matchups you wont be able to play it on turn 4 so keep it against warrior/priest. Be wary of thieves starting as another class.

It's good to have dreadlich, abyssal wave and/or entitled customer to be able to deal with aggro decks on turn 6.

Rustrot viper is only good against Demon hunter, some Thieves, warrior and Paladin.

Smothering starfish is always good to have, it can be a nice combo with gigafin (enemy can't get back his minnions)
