2 damage for 1 mana + you can get an extra totem if you kill a 1 health minion (which you sometimes have to). It synergizes with Zentomi and Spirit of the Frog.
It’s either it or Lightning Bolt, pretty much. And while LB is 1 damage more, it also has Overload, which might matter sometimes.
Thanks for answering ! Still not convinced though. A second earth shock seems better, especially with all the hunters around. Plus a second haunting vision: getting a third hex, a bloodlust are a lightning storm can be clutch. Just can’t see totemic smash worth a deck slot.
Can confirm it’s actually OP with Zentimo against zoo/token/bomb hunter. Especially if you summon one spell damage totem as that impacts Zentimo’s subsequent casts.
I was skeptical as well but I’d recommend it.
I’m not sure if two Spirits are too many though.
