Mulligans
General Mulligans
Low curve is king. The deck plays five 1-drops and four 2-drops, including Eternal Sentinel, which you can absolutely play on turn two to fight for the board, in the absence of anything else.
Aggro Mulligans
Just a race for the board.
Control Mulligans
In control matchups, you can be a little sneaky, and hold onto earth shock for doomsayer, and mana tide totem is a nice way to bait out soft removal before some of your other minions come out.
If your hand is already strong, you could keep Doomhammer, but don't be greedy with it. As opposed to Aggro Shaman, it isn't critical, and many control decks also run Harrison Jones.
Any player will confirm, it is not fun getting smacked in the face with Alextrazsa's Champion or Flame Imp with only totems to play. So rather than stare begrudgedly at my Aggro Shaman list, I ventured to build a list that combines the low curves and explosiveness of Aggro Shaman with the staying power of the Midrange. This is the result.
It also has a bit of a surprise element. Often, if your Shaman opponent is running Abusive Sergeant,Flame Juggler, and keeps hitting you in the face, you make the safe assumption that there is no Hex, or Fire Elemental in his deck. Which makes it so much more devestating when your Savannah Highmane or buffed up Drakonid Crusher turn into a frog right before your eyes.
