Update on progress with this deck:

RNG has been pretty average, although there have been absolutely atrocious games– Tomb Pillager almost always provides some sort of utility to draw with Auctioneer, allowing me to find either Malygos or Emperor in order to get the actual combo. Stalling the game is pretty hard, but I was able to keep the board under control until I reached around 9 / 10 mana.
Overall, deck is really solid. I highly recommend it to any person who likes rogue or combo decks in general, it’s tons of fun.

Finished all my crafting for this deck– it’s great. I think I’ll craft Malygos Druid now, what legendary (besides Malygos and Thalnos, I have them) should I craft first? Fandral?

Ancient of War would work for Ragnaros.
How essential is tomb pillager?
It’s very essential. It feeds Auctioneer, VanCleef, and allows for more ability to play spells with Malygos.
Alright. You’ve told me that this deck is viable in standard, but tough to play and climb with. How about in wild? (still debating between this and Freeze Mage)
I don’t know much about what’s going on in Wild unfortunately. I believe the main thing in wild is that N’Zoth decks and Secret Paladin are popular.

Well, Malygos if you really want to play this. I’m not sure what you’re missing. VanCleef is solid in all Rogue deck lists for the most part.

Is Barnes replaceable?
I’d try second Sap.
It is better to replace bloodmage thalnos with loot hoarder or kobold?
Thalnos is in almost every deck nowadays. Sometimes you want spell damage, sometimes you want card draw. Thalnos gives you both.
If you have the dust, craft it. Totally worth it. Best Legendary I’ve crafted.

No conceal?
conceals arent are too greedy when u arent running coldbloods because you have too many dead cards in hand early (2 sinister strikes are dead until otk) so without being able to create a board with cold blood attack then conceal it isn’t worth putting in just for auctioneer conceal.

I destroy control warrior, renolock, anyfin, control shaman, control priest and maly druid!
50/50 with hunter, zoolock
Unfavoured with midrange shaman, tempo mage and miracle rogue
And it’s very funny!
I try kobold version , good combo kobold-fan of knives with zoolock and mid shaman
Is Edwin vancleef replaceable?
I wouldn’t want to replace it, but you can try a second sap.
i’d replace edwin with questing adventurer. does pretty much the same, just the other way around. and is also a big thread on the board for your opponent.
why everyone plays 2 shadowstrike instead 2 sap???
Sap is bad vs tempo mage, midrange shaman or zoolock, due to flamewaker and board spam. which are the weak matchups.
Also, with all those mid range shamans out there right now, shadowstrike is infinitely better than sap against Thing from Below. And more decks are only playing 1 flamewreathed faceless, which would be the best sap candidate.
