Warlock Zoo is always solid deck to start playing with when you start Hearthstone. It teaches you about efficient trading and the important of minion positioning. The budget version of the deck doesn’t lose a whole lot of firepower either!
Future Card Replacements for Un’Goro Budget Warlock Zoo
You are basically drifting this deck to a more standard version of Discard Warlock Zoo. Two of the important discard synergy cards can be found only in One Night in Karazhan.
- 2x Abusive Sergeant > Malchezaar's Imp – The whole reason to play discard for the most part, you’ll need the Imp to redraw cards you pitch out of your hand.
- 2x Forbidden Ritual > Silverware Golem – Very powerful if you are able to pull it out early and works great with Malchezaar’s Imp.
- 1x Devilsaur Egg > Darkshire Librarian – Works with the above cards, but isn’t nearly as important and only works if you have the cards above.
General Replacements
Here’s just a list of cards you can add to this deck if you happen to be missing any of them and have already made replacements.
- Argent Squire – Just a solid early game minion that does well with buffs.
- Golakka Crawler – There’s a lot of decks with Pirates which helps provide a significant tempo swing, along with the fact that it’s just a decent minion.
- Eggnapper – Decent card, but easily removed from the board.
How far could this go in the ladder?
Tried it around 15-17 this season and its hard since there are so many Quest warriors and other control decks.
