I¨ve enjoy play this deck so much but i have 0-7 last games.. But still fun. I might win soon!
Let’s see, I don’t have:
Shadow Visions, Curious Glimmerroot, Lyra, Raza or Elise the Trailblazer…
I guess the RNG pack-opening gods don’t want me to play Priest – then again, the 2 legendaries I got from the 50 pack pre-order for Un’Goro were Ozruk and King Mosh… I’m guessing they don’t want me to play anything viable, not just Highlander Priest.
You can replace Glimmerloot with Akolyte of Paine, Load Harder, Mind Control Teck, or Tar Creeper, Elise replace with Second Rate Bruiser, Shadow Vision is hard to replace its pretty core like Raza but you can try Throughsteal
You Dont Need lyra, but without Lyra + Elise you loose much of endgame power. try Arcane Giant or Ysera to have something Big for Late Game cause the Deck will Lack of endgame power without Lyra / Elise / Raza …Shadow Vision.
There are so many possibillitys in highlander priest, its very flexible, im sure its possible to Play it without Raza, lyra and elise….but not on higher Ranks.
Hi people,I was wondering, which is more crucial to the between Lyra or Raza? Because I could afford to craft one and personally I found more funny Lyra but I never used rasa and I am wondering which is better with this deck….
For this Deck? I would suggest Raza, because his ability is very strong and only works in a Deck that has no duplicates.
Lyra is strong too, the effect of getting a random Priest Spell can be quite insane, plus Lyra can be put in pretty much any Priest Deck and still be of value.
You want to get that unique ‘no duplicates synergy’ feel? Craft Raza.
But in general, I would suggest to craft Lyra simply because Lyra can be put in any Priest Deck.
Lyra Is Nice, but not Nessecary, she is situtional and you need spells to trigger her, sometimes shes dead on my Hand vs fast Decks, you can highlander priest easily without her
Raza is The only Core Card with kazakus in this archetype.
You can Replace 90% of all cards except kazakus and Raza
In this Deck yes, absolutely.
But in general, should a Priest player craft Raza or Lyra? I would suggest Lyra since Raza is only usable in a Kazakus style Deck.
But for this Deck? I would suggest Raza over Lyra.
Made some improvements for Kibler to be more successfull
-Darkshire Alchemist / + Greater Healingp.
-Kabal Chemist / + Acolyte of Paine
-Kabal Talonpriest / + Mind Control Tech
-Mind Vision / +Chrystalline Oracle
-Radiant Elemental / +Dirty Rat
-Kabal Songstealer / +Silence
-Tortollan Shellrazer / +Tar Creeper
-Medivh / +Bog Creeper
Better results vs all Classes except Priest Mirror
These are some worthwhile changes, but deck will suffer without Medivh. His special ability with your high mana spells is your late game. I notice when I don’t draw him that late game is lacking.
You Know what, for 1 Match you miss Medivh in Lategame, you won 3 other ones cause you have no slow and Heavy Control Medivh vs aggro Decks in your Hand Turn 4 with 17 Hp left.
Bog Creeper in the current Meta won me more Games than Mediv Ever Could.
Which is more important between Lyra and raza?
Replacement for Lyra?
Extremely fun and good deck. But I feel like Medivh is slowly becoming useless because of all the weapon removals you can find on ladder atm. I don’t know what could replace it but it’s countered 2/3 games so I might put another card instead. (sorry for bad english lul)
I think that the fact they need to play a counter and spend mana to disarm your medivh is still worth it.
The deck does not depend on the weapon as a win condition like in warrior for example so I think it’s worth the risk, but maybe that’s just me.
Countering Medivh needs at least two cards, one for the 7/7 body and one for the Weapon. Also, in this package, it’s not for the greedy option, instantly playing one of the 1 Mana Spells is fine.
I have to agree with the other two replies, and say although Medivh is slow, his 7/7 body has good value even when his weapon is taken. When you get to use his staff with Free From Amber/Mind Control and whatever you got from Kazakus or the Kabal Courier, he’s awesome in this package.
