Sub for Rexxar?
I don’t have full deck so i can’t try this but replace snake trap for flare is viable?
I’m having a hard time against aggro decks with this deck. I win almost every time i manage to get into the late game, but i feel like this deck has a hard time in the early stages of the game.
Can anyone help me with a mulligan guide? or some subs for a better early game?
At 15-10 you can play around with this deck configuration and not be burned too badly. I actually disliked Barnes in this, took him out and one Highmane (always hated pulling it with Kathrena) and put in two Bonemares… yes, post-nerf, they are still good.
Now, that means this deck tends to run longer games, so you will struggle against Cubelock, but I don’t care… and you can occasionally get blistering fast Secret Keeper starts, but don’t depend on them. I tend to prefer the secret, board trade early game into many wolves, then Rexxar, then Kathrena, etc. It is a very powerful mid-game deck, and depending on the matchup, can go long with Rexxar making beasts all day long.
Save Tracking until you are looking for something specific. Your Tracking picks often make/break the game… do it right, you win in late mid-game having worn them down then burn them out with Kill Command and Eaglehorn Bow. PLaying for the “you are at 10? You are dead!” game state seems to work well.
Not to mention, this deck is just fun. Rexxar is the best card Hearthstone ever made, so any chance to play him… especially in a raw, unsettled meta… go for it.
Sub for Barnes?
i think seeping oozeling with play death is more fun and a good replacement, you could take a traking for play dead
What about keeping barnes and seeping? I feel like those two could work well with each other. I subbed out one of my eagle horn bows and got rid of one of my tracks. Thoughts??
He’s actually not running barnes, cut a tracking and add two flanking strikes that’s the new build. (Also sub violet wurm for swamp king dread but that’s up to you if you have it)
I would really love to paly with this deck but i don’t have quite enough dust right now… What should i get first King Krush or Katherna?
And i would also want to know a good sub for the card other card
i think Kathrena is much more important. she gives you a lot of tempo, which is exactly what you need. Krush alone without this synergy is good finisher, but Kathrena is crucial for this deck. i myself play this deck without crush as i dont have him and it works. replace him with some big beast, i am using ultrasaur. but charged devilsaur is also an option as it works simirally as crush
Katherna, you can replace Krush by another Violet worm but you can’t replace Katherna
sub for cat trick ?
Sub for king crush?
Charged Devilsaur.
In his stream yesterday when he got legend with this deck, Brian Kibler replaced flanking strike with deathstalker rexxar.

“Hit Legend with this Secret/Kathrena deck I’ve been playing the past few days. Solid vs Priest and Warlock, though it struggles a lot with Paladin.”

Fixed, thanks!
Sub for snake trap?
I would sub the tracking for 2 play dead myself..
play dead
in a deck with only 1 deathrattle
that’s some smart shit right there
3 Rattles…but still
4 rattles, still?
What could I use instead of Tracking? I really just dont like that card too much potential to lose cards I want to keep play, also playing this deck with flanking strike, however has its advantages, isnt there a more suitable card to place here instead? maybe a explosive trap or a crackling razormaw even? great deck though, been having lots of fun with it!
Try a Snipe or Explosive Trap, that’s what im doing, dropped to one cat Trick as well, lots of aggro/Midrange decks aren’t running many spells so it’s just a dead card. The 2 damage aoe and 4 damage are very relevant early game nowadays.
Also Deathstalker Rexxar is an idea. You win grindy games with him
I used to be a bit wary of tracking myself, But I think you’re thinking about it the wrong way. You aren’t losing any actual card advantage when you play tracking, only potential advantage. You get your pick of the three cards, so you never lose the best card for that particular situation from those 3. You only lose the potential to draw one of the other two, going from say 1 in 20 to 0 in 17. admittedly in this deck there is the option of hitting a recruit target, but that won’t come up that often. Pretty much the only time those missing cards really matter is during a fatigue matchup, and this deck has usually won or lost by the time that becomes relevant.
Tracking will save your life much more often than an explosive trap. It lets you draw 3 cards, keep 1 and discard the other two. Is that taunt about to lose the game for you? Quick see if a spellbreaker is in your next 3. Board full of 2 health rush minions for your opponent? Hello Deathstalker!
You are thinking too much about the future and not enough about the present. You could spend the game wondering what could happen, or you could put yourself in a board advantage and close it out before he can counter. Its up to you!
