Drop Rin and Owl for two Spellbreakers. I haven’t tried Dreadlords, but the deck MAY benefit from then more than the Gigglers…..I know everyone likes the Gigglers, but I’ve tried them, Applbaums, and other stuff and I think we could benefit from a couple whirlwinds.
Rin is a really strong card for control warlock, so i would say yes but since this is the beginning of an expansion i would wait for the meta to stabilize
Rin has never done much for me in this deck since Boomsday dropped. Name me one deck you could drop Aziz on. Maaaybe control warrior….I don’t use her. The tempo from the spells is minimal. Think about the meta…..she’s not good.
You got it. Rin destroys control warrior. But yeah, I would think of her more of a tech against ultra control decks than a core card. I have her out of my list for better techs.
My only gripe would be the zero Doomsayers. They are really key in matchups like Even Lock and can be great early game vs zoo. Are 2 Sac Pacts really necessary?
I dont like skull in this deck mainly because of rin. i subbed out skull plus voidlords for 2 x dread lord and 1 x dread infernal. its good against agro and i feel like when u play guldan its more powerful
Skull is absolutely IMPERATIVE for this deck. Are you actually suggesting that we shouldn’t play Skull for the soul reason that we can’t play Aziz on the 1/100 game you’d actually drop him ….LOL!!!!
Lackey’s nerf to 6 mana really made it a lot less effective. Not being able to play him + dark pact until turn 7 is pretty bad already, but if you look at this list you can see it doesn’t even run dark pact, so your only methods of killing him are defile (requires setup, damages your voidlord for at least 1, costs an extra mana), or hellfire/spellstone. Skull also synergizes with demonic project, pulling the demons you generate from your hand, something possessed lackey can’t do. And if you include him and dark pact, you need to find 3 extra slots after removing the skull from the list. So, overall, I’d recommend you craft the skull if you want to play this deck. I’m just a nobody though!
I have been running a pre-boomsday control warlock in place of this deck. No skull involved. I can safely say that as of the last few days, it has proven to get the job done. If you haven’t yet crafted the skull and still want to play control, you can run something like this list. https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/rin-condition/
I couldn’t find the original list I was basing mine on, so I just copied my list to topdecks
A better version of a deck that I’ve been playing. Demonic project is a real winner, a “dirty rat” like card that completly breaks a lot of these OTK combos. If played right, its a auto win against any Mecha’thun decks. Love it.

doomsayers are probably better than pact, but pact does kill void rippers which kill doomsayers.
Annnnnnd demons from zoo, evenlock, and the demons you give your opponents from Demonic Project.
Oh yeah, fair enough. Depends on the meta.

Voidlord is insanely more powerful than a random 6/6

can i sub the weapon for a couple of lackeys or craft the weapon?
