Mulligans

General Mulligans

Consecration and Keeper of Uldaman are good for me if I get the coin, specially if I'm facing Face Hunter. Ironbeak Owl is great for countering some serious stuff. Noble Sacrifice + Avenge is a nice combo that can buff your minions, as well as getting the divine shield and taunt from Coghammer..

Control Mulligans

I prefer this cards for turns 1 to 3. The mana curve is solid. The minions help to do some trades until you make it to turn 4 and 5, where you can play a Murloc Knight, Keeper of Uldaman, Truesilver Champion or any card discovered by the Scarab. Noble Sacrifice and Coghammer can protect your Knife Juggler if everything goes in your favor. Muster for Battle gives you some board presence and let's you kill small minions.

This is the first deck I submit, so I will really appreciate your feedback to make it better. I’ve won 7/10 ranked games with it, though I’m still at a low rank (one more star to hit 16). All suggestions are welcome!

1. Argent Squire, Jeweled Scarab, Knife Juggler or a Secret are your best options for Turn 1. I prefer to take Redemption + Knife Juggler in case it gets killed by stuff like Lightning Bolt or Frostbolt. Hopefully, the Jeweled Scarab will get you a really good 3-cost card, like Big Game Hunter  (idk if I should put him in) or a Sword of Justice  that procs with Muster for Battle .

2. Coghammer really helps against some aggro decks. The idea is to use it’s buff on a Silver Hand Recruit  or maybe on a Shielded Minibot  that already lost it’s shield. Of course it can work with any other minion on the deck.

3. Probably switching Emperor Thaurissan  for a Quartermaster  to combo with Muster for Battle . Still, I run him on this deck in case I need to play tough cards like Dr. Boom , Tirion Fordring  or Lay on Hands  to keep up with the pressure.

4. You already know the Equality + Consecration combo. Sometimes it could be Equality + Avenging Wrath, though it depends on the enemy board.

5. Keeper of Uldaman and Murloc Knight help us to control the board. Switching a 1/1 minion into a 3/3 it’s effective for some trades, as well as getting some murlocs for that purpose. If you are lucky enough, your opponent won’t have board clear like Flamestrike .

6. Cairne Bloodhoof is here because I just got it. I remember it was a good card for control warrior decks, so that’s why I’m trying it on this Paladin Control deck.

7. Dr. Boom: pretty self-explanatory. This guy puts some pressure from mid-to-late game. I play him first in case it’s a target for Polymorph, Hex, Shadow Word: Death or anything else.

8. Then comes Tirion Fordring. If he is not silenced, then prepare for some uneven trades and of course, some Ashbringer action.

All in all, I think the synergies in this deck are decent enough to rank from 25 to 15 (hope I make it).
