Mulligans
General Mulligans
The sooner you can get huge minions on the board the better. Just play smart and read the situation, for example if you're playing an aggro deck keep board clears and Truesilver Champion. HAVE FUN!
Supposed to be very fun instead of very good.
Heres the video for the deck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUd4A0Skhow&t=579s
The main goal of this deck is to use Blatant Decoy , Duel! and Prismatic Lens to bring out the 7+ cost minions in the deck. Redemption works very well with Colossus of the Moon because it causes 2 to spawn with Reborn. Call to Adventure almost always gets you a 5/4 Zilliax and helps draw a Blatant Decoy after Zilliax is drawn. Overall a pretty simple and fun deck and it gets some crazy amazing plays.
If you have Archmage Vargoth ADD HIM. Possibly replace Blessing of Wisdom.
Winrates:
The deck counters Shaman and Warrior very well but has a very rough time with any Paladin deck.
Currently 15 – 13 (54%).
Druid: 2 – 2 (50%)
Hunter: 1 – 0 (100%)
Mage: 1 – 0 (100%)
Paladin: 1 – 7 (12%)
Priest: 0 – 1 (0%)
Shaman: 5 – 3 (62%)
Rogue: 1 – 2 (33%)
Warlock: 1 – 0 (100%)
Warrior: 3 – 0 (100%)
I will update as I play more.
Why does this counter Shamy? If the Shamy goes wide on board, you dont have any chance. 2 Consecration isnt enough though.
Most of the time and what should happen is you force shaman to trade because by turn 5 or 6 you already have a huge minion on board.
i will face a similiar deck in a tournament today. Whats the plan to beat this? pure aggro?
My lineup will include Combo Priest, Quest Shamy and Quest Druid. How do you feel against these 3?
With the Quests you need to complete them as fast as possible. Shaman has small minions so be prepare to trade a lot. Make sure to have removal cards in case they get a really strong hand. Combo priest it depends on what your hand is and the board state. If you can make an equally big minion early and then kill him fast and/or trade you should be okay, but you have to kill this deck faster rather than slower so yes AGGRO. Let me know how it goes and/or went.
Quest Druid is probably the best option
