Dirty rat is good against control and combo decks, against aggro a good low cost taunt could replace it. Most aggro decks use leeroy or any other high cost minion to counter early dirty rat right now. Second rate is okey to replace.
Evident, just wondering how this deck does against Jade Druid? I ran this to rank 2 then hit a wall of Jade Druid’s and it seems to get crushed. I’m assuming adding twisting nether and jaraxxus back in is for that match-up. Any tips on the match-up in general? Seems strange to see so much Jade Druid when it get’s stomped by almost everything else…
The main thing against Jade Druid is you have to pressure them because you aren’t going to win the long game. Jaraxxus isn’t very good against Jade Druid, you want to play towards the Leeroy combo as much as possible. It’s an unfavored matchup unfortunately, but Twisting Nether could buy you time to pull off the combo. I would check out our Renolock guide for a bit more insight: http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/kazakus-renolock-deck-list-guide-standard/
Deck is good in mirror and beats rogue and druid but cant quite challenge aggro decks as you usually cant reno until ur dead and deck does not run enough early game and gets whooped you win sometimes aggro but only when you get really lucky.
For aggro you got doomsayer and dirty rat. Try to play the curve game like doomsayer, Imp gang, vendor. Once you get board control aggro shouldn’t be a problem if you don’t make too greedy or unnecessary taps. If you loose the board too hard, try to think one or two turns ahead and figure out how to get it clear. This deck is like the king of swing turns imo.
I’ve found the same thing. It’s REALLY tough to run the risk of using this as removal when you’re holding part of your combo or Reno, so it’s essentially part of the combo making it 24 max damage. Having said that, you can use it when desperate against a lot of cards that see play (totem golem, azure drake, bran, corruptor, pillager, auctioneer, berserker, etc…).
Guessing because control decks are mostly limited to Jade Druid and Jarraxus doesn’t really help vs. them since the golems quickly outvalue the hero power Late game
A lot of decks are running sacrificial pact to auto win in the mirror from what I’ve been seeing on the ladder, most mirrors come down to Leeroy combo anyways so 15 health isn’t good but you can ensure that win with a copy of sacrificial pact. Has good synergy for healing with imp gang boss’s imps.
This is my most tense battle using this deck, already use Reno when hp 1, and then this happen 😮 luckily in the end third burst didn’t enough
Before this recording, the warrior already burst 1 time until my HP 1

Renolock is my favorite deck because can be used for any kind of situations
Renolock can beat aggro decks easily (meta right now) like aggro shamans and aggro warriors
-Soulfire +SecondRate
This is my game play vs Aggro Shaman and Warrior 🙂

Any replacements for leeroy? May argent commander be decent?
Reckless Rocketeer is a common replacement.
ok thank you 🙂
How important is dirty rat? Can’t get him in a pack for love nor money and currently running a second rate bruiser instead

Really helpful! Thanks for the quick response!
Is lord jaraxxus replaceable? Any suggestions on what should i use until i craft him?
Sunfury Protector, or Second-Rate Bruiser?
or rag
I think alextrasza is better than jaraxxus when there is almost no control warrior decks in the ladder. For sure she could be the replacement.
the list has been modified in recent days:
– sunfury protector
– second-rate bruiser
+ twisting nether
+ jaraxxus
Thanks, I checked his recent stream and these are correct. It’s now updated above.

So i find it slow to climb with the deck as ladder is 50% aggro decks
Can someone tell me how i beat aggro

Soulfire seems like a huge risk as it could ruin the Leeroy Combo, any reason in particular it’s used and even still what you would replace it with?
It’s early removal (Totem Golem) and late game reach. You could run a Mind Control Tech probably.

Dirty rat but no MCT? Makes no sense to me. I value alone that card higher than rat.
Anything to replace Reno?
Just kidding! 😛
Why no twisting nether?
He added it on his stream today, i think he took off sunfury protector for it
anything to replace leeroy?
It is unfortunately irreplaceable. The mana cost and attack make it like that. Especially the mana cost, since it enables combo.
Why ragnaros is not included?
It’s not required. You already have enough big minions and Leroy is a better finish than Rag. This deck is really tight for space.
why is it saying i can only play this in Wild?
I checked through the cards and they are all Standard compliant. Are you sure you didn’t accidentally make it a Wild deck in the deck creation menu?
Guessing because control decks are mostly limited to Jade Druid and Jarraxus doesn’t really help vs. them since the golems quickly outvalue the hero power Late game
no Jarraxus? why? 😕
I could be way off here (haven’t played the deck, only watched streamers) but I think Jaraxxus weakens the mirror which you’ll be seeing a lot of.

Alot of decks is a stretch. ive never seen anyone play sac pact
I saw sacrificial pack 2 times in 10 reno lock matchups today. 12-13-2016
There’s no way a significant number of decks are running sac pact. Maybe at rank 10 sure. Never seen it in legend, and I’ve played the mirror a bunch.
