Whenever a Rogue plays against me: Turn 1 Bloodsail Flybooter. Turn 2 Shiv. Turn 3 Necrium blade. Turn 4 Wisp and Necrium Apothecary.
When I Play Rogue: first two cards drawn Anubisath warbringer and everything but Necrium Apothecary.
No but seriously, my games are super unlucky. I started with Flink, Leeroy, and two Stonetusk boars. After that i drew one novice, one faceless, two Miscreants, both Necrium blades and Anubisath warbringer. I then died.
How are all these Rogues so lucky?
I met three Rogues in a row. All of them had Necrium Apothecary turn 4 and started with good cards for the early game… I won one game because i got insanely lucky as well, but still how? It’s like a 6,6% chance to find one of them and they all get it in the first 4-5 turns.
It’s a horrible deck that is only good for highlight videos because it looks cool the 2% of the time it manages to win.
Not true, J_Alexander has just hit #2 Legend with a different Anubisath Rogue build.
Mark my words – Necrium Apothecary is probably the most broken SINGLE card from the expansion and it’s not talked about just because Galakrond Shaman is even more broken (but that’s because the whole Galakrond package is just crazy). If it doesn’t get hit by the nerf patch, people will complain about it in a week. Not sure if Anubisath version is better or maybe Whelp version will be played more after all, but Rogue is really strong.
