Mulligans
General Mulligans
You NEVER keep the quest in the mulligan.
As we all know mage right now, these 2 cards are a must for mulligan in any mage deck running them. But generally the deck is made up most of freeze and draw, that's all you'll be doing for the entirety of your turns trying to stop the other playing from going face.
The entire game plan is draw and freeze to survive till turn 9-10, I know that’s forever (I know Mozaki does it better but it’s Antonidas we’re dealing with).
The combo consist of the turn before you’ll want to drop both of your Sorcerer's Apprentice and Potion of Illusion to now have 4 one mana Sorcerer's Apprentice ready for the turn after. As early as turn 9 you can play Archmage Antonidas 2 one mana Sorcerer's Apprentice and you’ll want to have saved one mana biscuit for the extra 2 mana to active your spell for Archmage Antonidas and get your last 2 Sorcerer's Apprentice on the board for the otk. TheSimulacrum is there if you need an extra Sorcerer's Apprentice or say you have Varden Dawngrasp in your hand as lowest cost you can get another turn of freeze from Varden. And if you need to get through a pesky Ice Block or just alot of armor, Open the Waygate is in the deck. Using the fireballs from Archmage Antonidas you get your out of deck spells and for one mana (so you’ll have to survive till turn 10) you get to pop the block and take that extra turn.
