The one fewer mana makes a difference when you’re trying to combo before turn 10, and the Roar sometimes gives you more options, like the ability to combo with a single Naturalize (if your opponent has a minion to trade your Anaconda). But you’re correct – not strictly necessary for the combo. If you’ve got Anaconda, Mecha’thun, Naturalize, and some way to kill the Anaconda in hand, you can feel free to burn your deck.
Why do you need Stampeding Roar? Can’t you go Anaconda + Wrath + Naturalize the Mecha’thun (7 + 2 + 1) for the same effect with one less card?

Can anyone explain me why is this version with Anaconda better than the original one ?
Don’t know, also don’t how to stand a chance against DR Hunter and Aggro. Except Pyromancer + Spells you do have absolutly no AoE?!
Oh, wait. The MechThun is easier to play through Stampede -> Anaconda -> CTHun
