It is really starting to seem like Miracle Rogue is back in business. Amaz credits Amnesiac with this build, and he finished top-25 with it on the NA Ladder. The deck really goes back to its roots where you’re actively looking to get a ton of value out of Gadgetzan Auctioneer and then use Cold Blood to burst your opponent down from a reasonable life total.
It seems like the implementation of Standard helped this deck a lot more than the actual expansion did. The deck runs Journey Below, Shadow Strike, and Xaril, Poisoned Mind but nothing else from Whispers of the Old Gods.
Running Shivs instead of Xaril and Edwin (don’t have). My personal change would be Leeroy for one of these 2 as he brings tons of burst and it’s easy to pull him out but I don’t have him either (lost to 2 M-Rogue’s running this card).
Ran into a brick wall in the form of freeze/tempo mage. 0-8 against mages after 12 games with this. Oftentimes I get the big draw turn and everything dies to flamestrike and the board resets to crap. Other than bending over and hoping to keep a creature on the board long enough to put burst potential on I’m not sure what to do…
the best is … that this deck has almost nothing from wotg … it always has been and noone played it 😀

Journey is amazing in this deck as Rogue has great deathrattles and a lot of the time you’ll pull the situational deathrattle you need. At 1 mana the only things you can’t drop off right away is deathwing
Bad matchups are Healadin (ResidentSleeper), super face decks (a rarity), the off chance that your opponent draws Reno, and if you don’t draw or they kill off your Gadgetzan.
Could i use a cutpurse for the tomb pillager ? Cause he is in the adventure and i dont want to spend money for this game.
I’d probably try Violet Teacher in that spot. Cutpurse is really bad.
I think you can craft him these days! To test I disenchanted a stoneskin gargoyal and was able to re enchant it! hope this helps. Also, its not just nax, I can DE my reno as well!
You can only craft cards from Adventures that have rotated out of Standard or if you own the Adventure (or wing).
Just buy it with in-game gold, there’s no need to spend money on it and you can get enough gold for a wing with just a week or so of daily quests. Really opens up your deckbuilding options to have a lot of the LoE cards, especially (bits and pieces for a lot of strong decks in there).
Why not charge cards?
Stomps by any pally with healing or Reno … Not consistent enough.

What’s a good replacement for Bloodmage Thalanos? Is it completely necessary? I know it’s a good boost to Miracle rogue but I don’t think this a good enough reason to craft it.

if you dont think an ETERNAL card (will always be standard playable, forever and ever) doesnt deserve the dust, then I dont know what to say to you. maybe thought about playing other games?
Eternal? Didn’t know eternity lasted only two years.
Classic set stays in Standard forever (unless they decide differently in the future).
