Aggro Secret Paladin Theorycraft

Secret Paladin is obviously a big theme of Rise of Shadows — the question is what build to use. This one takes a fairly aggressive approach, with the goal being killing your opponent as fast as possible. You’ve got a bunch of cheap and durable minions, secrets that help you keep them alive, and some really powerful t2-3-4 options turns that allow to amp up the damage before your opponent can mount a serious defense.

The deck tops out at 5 mana with two cards: Leeroy for burst and Subject 9 to help you draw more secrets. By T5, the game should be close to over, with you needing one final push. Subject 9 puts down a solid body, helps you buff a Secretkeeper you’ve managed to stick, or simply thins your deck so next turn you can draw the Leeroy or Blessing of Kings you need to close out the game.

Crystology is in there in case your opponent somehow manages to clear your early board. You never want to actually play it on 2, but it’s an insurance policy that can save you if things turn sour in the midgame. Other than that the choices are fairly straighforward: You have lots of secrets and all of the new synergy from RoS but no silence or direct damage, so you need to close out the game early to avoid being locked out by big taunts.
