Mulligans
General Mulligans
This is the best opening hand to put pressure on the board.
Turn 1: Alleycat
Turn 2: Dire Wolf Alpha
Turn 3: Animal Companion (worst companion would be Misha)
Combo Mulligans
Tundra Rhino give great options with this deck: mainly with Kindly Grandmother/Rat Pack, cause of their Deathrattle (since the creatures spawned are also beasts, they have charge).
Another good combo is Scavenging Hyena + Unleash the Hounds - use the small 1/1 Hounds to build a huge Scavenging Hyena.
(disclaimer: I play Hearthstone for the fun of it and therefore I’m not a professional player)
Although the max rank I reached with this deck is 13, it can give every other deck a run for the their money especially if lady luck is by your side.
Before bouncing with comments like where’s Houndmaster, etc; this is a pure beast deck and not a beast synergy deck, I know the deck without that criteria could become a lot better.
Having said that, with a good early game and burst damage, this deck has the potential to wreak havoc.
General Tips:
– positioning is key for Dire Wolf Alpha;
– Smuggler’s crate works best with Dispatch Kodo, Tundra Rhino & Rat Pack;
– weapon is best for board control;
– don’t be afraid to trade especially if you have Scavenging Hyena out.
