Mulligans
General Mulligans
With small-time recruits and call to arms, it is very easy to stick a few minions on the board, or at least set up for it. The above cards are ones you generally want to look for in an opening hand to get a strong start, but aren't entirely required. The main goal is to play a small-time recruits to get as many of your one-cost minions in your hand, then to play call to arms and try to high roll your well-stated 2 drops. The goal is to get 6/10 in stats from call to arms, with 2/2 stats coming from argent protector or hydrologist and 2/6 coming from dirty rat. You could also get 2/3 stats from gravelsnout knight or plated beetle, giving very strong presence.
At the current point in the meta, it would appear as though there really isn’t anywhere to go with aggro. Not enough presence to make an impact and too many board clears can very easily mess up a good setup. However, with the new additions to the paladin class’s arsenal, I believe with a good enough high roll you may just in fact be able to deal 30 damage relatively easily.
