Mulligans
Like any aggro deck, this one plays for face damage, often having to go all in. This deck has a couple of things going for it, however.
- Warriors do not run as many brawls
- No more reno-kazakus mage or warlock in standard
- Counters aggro if you have a good hand, and is great vs midrange decks that play slow.
- Maybe a decent counter to quest rogue
- There are not many ways to get through a 6/6 Wickerflame Burnbristle.
Mulligans:
Best keeps are Blessing of Wisdom, Argent Protector, Smuggler's Run, Argent Squire, Grimestreet Outfitter, worst are Cult Master, and Blessing of Kings.
Defender of Argus is good to keep with Lost in the Jungle, Argent Protector and Eggnapper
Lightfused Stegodon is great with Lost in the Jungle, or buff cards that may fill up your later curve.
Inclusions and Exclusions:
Patches isn’t very good when all that combos with it well are bloodsail raider and bloodsail corsair, since they both require a weapon to make them useful.
Steward of darkshire doesn’t combo with handbuffs but it can be used.
Lightfused Stegodon is good with Lost in the Jungle (which I may use two of) and when the curve requires you to hero power often, plus with 3 attack or poisonous it’s incredibly good at killing large minions. (Also a good two-of).
Aldor Peacekeeper is our only hard removal, plus it’s still a 3/3.
Eggnapper is great with Cult Master, Blessing of Kings and Defender of Argus.
Most of the other cards should be self-explanitory. Feedback would be appreciated π
