Mulligans

General Mulligans

Depends on the match up, you always want at least a removal spell and mistress of mixtures. It allows you to often get 2 free draws off hero power

Aggro Mulligans

Against aggro you are looking for these good openers to help stabilize. Read the guide i made to understand what is good against the decks.

UPDATE: I have swapped acidic for hellfire due to the abundance of aggro. You can swap based off of what you are seeing more.

This deck has been doing real good against the meta. I have gone from rank 5 to legend with this and help propel others to legend. It has a lot of tools to beat a lot of the most popular decks. The deck is teched to combat Rogue, Priest (both big priest and highlander), druid, and has tools for any aggressive deck. The weakness of this deck would be any style of mage deck. Between burn damage and counterspell it can be tough to play around. Try to keep health high and get rid of anything on the field. Try to play death knight as soon as possible to help stabilize. Dirty Rat has been surprisingly good against priest to get Velen, Raza, Lyra, and even Kazakus. Against druid they utilize a lot of battlecry effects so you can slow down jades. It pairs really well with siphon soul and twisting nether. Medivh and the death knight are the win conditions. The value you can generate from using twisting nether to wipe the board and create an 8 cost minion is extremely powerful. The death knight is obviously powerful with being able to bring back all demons that died and has 3 deal damage gain 3 each turn for 2 mana. Skulking Giest is great against druid to prevent fatigue and ultimate value. It is also very good against priest to stop multiple triggers from death knight hero power and its nice that it is 4 attack. The last deck tech choice is acidic swamp ooze. It is there to combat other medivh’s and any weapon that can be a nuisance (ie paladin weapons, warriors, and even frost mourne). Gluttonous ooze armor gain isn’t that significant and it costing 3 mana instead of 2 makes it hard to pair with other spells. With this deck you will need to have patience and know what to play around. You will win the late game against most decks and if you play everything correctly you will pull off some awesome wins.

yeah i see what you are saying at the time this is what worked to get myself and a few others to legend. Hearthstone definitely makes you have to adapt.

I have thought of Lich king a lot. That is a good idea, It may be good and add to threats. The deck is weaker to early aggression so i opted for more choices to make it so i can get to DK and/or Medivh which help close the game out quicker than Lich King could. You will always draw either one so surviving has been my main focus. What would you recommend swapping out?

I were using this deck before: AAECAcn1AgqKAe0F8gWSB7YH4QeizQLCzgKX0wKX6AIKMI0IxAjMCPMM3bwC5MIC3sQC58sC980CAA==
It was very good against aggro-decks. But then i felt, that i loosed a lot to more control-based decks. I decided to find a deck with Twisting Nether. Your deck made my winrate against aggro decks lower. I agree with adding of Nether and Dirty Rat. But, in my opinion there should be Thalnos or Zealot (or both), Lich King (he is good against both: aggro and control). and, maybe, some kind of silence (Ironbeak Owl or Spellbreaker). I am not sure, what do you need to remove, but, cards that i would remove are: Shadow Bolt 1x, Drain Soul 2x, Medivh (he is very proactive(?), he does nothing in aggro matchups, ), Stonehill defender 1x.
I am not sure about all, what i said. I didn’t tried it.

What do you think about Lich King? Why you don’t use him?
