Mulligans

General Mulligans

Awaken the Makers - I would recommend keeping in any scenario even against agro decks, the faster you can complete the quest the better in most match ups.

Northshire Cleric - This is easily the #1 keep for mulligans. Always play it on turn 1 before the quest if you manage to draw it. If playing against agro decks you are almost guaranteed 1 or 2 draws and that can help a lot.

Mistress of Mixtures -  Good follow up to playing the quest on turn 1, it helps greatly against agro and adds a slight pressure to your opponent. Can also be great to play on turn 1 along with the quest if you happen to have the coin.

Crystalline Oracle - Not the greatest mulligan but it is a cheap minion that helps finish the quest and gives you a random card from your opponents deck, it is worth keeping if you draw it before the mulligan.

I will start off by saying this deck is extremely expensive but doesn’t use very many cards exclusive to wild. I started using this deck just for some Reno fun in wild at rank 25 and managed to make it to rank 5 with an 80% win rate which completely blew my mind. This deck is extremely fun to play as well but keep in mind the games take a very long time so don’t expect to climb from 25 to Legend in a couple days.

The whole point of this deck is to survive usually till fatigue and flood the board with late game threats (N’Zoth, Ysera and Kazakus Potions).  It gives you plenty of cards to gain tempo throughout the game so you don’t lose out on that aspect either.

Here are a few key components to the deck:

Awaken the Makers  – The quest is obviously a huge part of this deck giving you 40 health and making the game drag on much longer. With the amount of deathrattles and cards like Barnes  and Herald Volazj  finishing the quest is extremely easy to do.

Reno Jackson  – Reno can be used in two different ways making him essential in this deck, against agro decks he is a lifeline to keep you alive long enough to finish your quest, on the other hand using him against other control decks is great after completing the quest and getting towards the end of the game. Resetting your health to 40 two times in one game is extremely hard to beat and gives you a solid 4/6 body on the board after a full heal.

N'Zoth, The Corruptor  – N’zoth is that last late game push that will put you over the top, by the time you play it your opponent has usually used all of their board clears and that should leave you with a full board. Even if they saved a board clear you can usually get back a ton of value if N’Zoth brings back cards like Cairne Bloodhoof, Piloted Shredder , Shifting Shade , or even Crystalline Oracle .

Kazakus  & Brann Bronzebeard  – This combo should ALWAYS be played together if possible. The amount of value two Kazakus Potions gives back is incredible. It is also situational so sometimes you need to use your best judgement, against control style decks usually two 10-mana Potions is the best choice but against quicker decks where you are falling behind it might be better to get two 5 or 1 mana potions to be able to use them at the same time or even on the same turn you play Kazakus.

The rest of the cards should be pretty self explanatory, just play deathrattles when you can and Spiritsinger Umbra  with a deathrattle or two and you’re going to have a good time.
