Worst card this expansion, not even memey enough like renounce darkness 1/5
Strong card for zoo. I can see it work, it has a few good upsides: build a deck with aggressive neutrals and combos in your own class cards and make half of your deck better in the mid/lategame, also transform bombs, hakkar blood and other shenanigans.
The only upside compared to a Vanilla 3/2 (like Bloodfen Raptor) is that this can counter Bombs, Bad Luck Albatross and Hakkar. However, this also transforms your Zilliax, Siamat, Zephrys and others into random class cards. Cards that could be Arcane Rift. This is a little bit like Renounce Darkness: “Why random cards if you can fill your deck with strong cards?” And it doesnt even discount!
In Standart, this will only be played in a (meme) Hakkar deck. In Arena, this might be pretty strong if you had a bad draft.
I wouldn’t exactly scold this card away. This is actually a pretty good answer for when you have to deal with Bad Luck Albatross’ Deathrattle, but you DO have to pay the price against losing potential for your Natural Minions, and players are right not scolding this card, because they imagine some of their strongest neutral minions such as Zilliax, and Siamat, and even Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, only to be shafted by Wyrmerst Purifier to their them all into terrible cards. Or the fact that they know they don’t like the pressure of using Wyrmrest just yet because their Legendary Minions are too important for them right now and therefore they can use her yet. Nevertheless, in the right hands of HOW to use Wyrmrest (Which is pretty much just trying to cheat your way to using this card without sacrificing so much), I can see this card being used, but as I said, you’re going to using this if you’re up against something like Albatross. I’m going to give this 4 Stars, just because I think we finally have enough tools for at least many of the Classes of Hearthstone, and they don’t mind playing Natural minions, but it is going to suck they are missing out on something like Ziliax and Siamat.
Ok everyone’s mentioning bombs and Hakkar but did everyone forget that other neutral that was revealed bad luck albatross with deathrattle to add 2 1/1 cards to opponents deck. This card can work as an anti tech card against that card if a deck appears that takes advantage of that. And if you did run your own Hakkar to the deck all the better so it wouldn’t be a waste.
This card can see play in Hakkar decks.
I feel like this is 90% a meme card and 10% potentially useful in some fringe cases. Generally neutral cards are tech cards which aren’t always useful.
If you’re playing a control mage deck against a non-weapon based hero you can turn that useless Acidic Swamp ooze for something more useful for instance.
The card seems fun and at least semi-viable. I’m glad it exists.

Hmm just realized this can be fun with togwaggle. Just remove all your opponents neutral cards.
This is clearly a meme card. In all honesty I prefer cards like this way more than cards like Desert obelisk so I’m happy there’s at least easy random fun to be had than just “oh I opened this epic and it’s useless for me”. I’d kinda wished this turned all neutral cards into totally random class cards for the maximum meme synergy though 😀

Play warlock with this card and Renounce Darkness. Will it win. Definitely no.
Will it be funny, most definitely.
Still would be curious to try this with Mage. They have lots of good spells. Most likely would not work, but would be fun to try with the quest anyway.
Either way it is a fun card. Would rate it 5 for fun, but 1 or 2 for non-meme use.
Maybe if your deck has very few neutral cards in it and bombs become prevalent again.
Well this expansion has way too many good cards. It’s only valid that you have some bad cards in the expansion.
Why would you not just play cards from your own class? It’s not like the cards your getting from this are gonna be high cost on average like rafaam’s or prince Liam’s legendaries so it’s not like you could play a bunch of low cost neutrals and get a bunch of high cost cards after you play her so i don’t see why you would use her.
Well at least it will boost cards such as PRINCESS TALANJI.
Why?
I guess if your deck is full of bombs or stuff like that.
Bombs, bye bye bombs.
I can see a few reasons for this:
1) bombs/ corrupted blood
2) quests once they are completed (making mummies, marsh queen, awaken the makers, corrupt the waters, fire plumes heart, jungle giants, and especially open the way gate)
3) academic espionage
4) Archivist Elysiana
5) 3, 4, or more fireballs
Is it random? Of course. Will it be top tier? Only if bombs come back in a strong way. Could it have some big uses, especially in wild. Yep.
Should have thrown the spider summons in there as well…..
Spiders from the ambush cards don’t count they’re rogue cards not neutral.
Academic espionage doesn’t do anything with this it’s a class card giving 10 more random class cards. This could turn around a bad set from archivist though. For quests some of the cards you’d want to use with them are neutral making mummies works well with the mechanical whelpling.
Basically bombs blood and potentially albatross are the main reasons to run this though Hakkar is only one that is a reliable reason.
