Realistically speaking, you are just going to go for 11-13 mana on Average, and the rest is just drawing up another card. MAYBE, if you went for Pur COntrol, I can see an idea to where you go for an Alexstraza Brewmaster OTK Deck, where you’re using all 20 Mana, but even then, it takes a lot of effort, and you would also need to draw out your guff pretty fast, while ALSO protecting yourself at the same time for that OTK idea.
OTK King Krush Beastmaster Hunter only required King Krush and any way to gain 2 extra copies of it. Your average waiting time for an OTK Deck like that would take about 12 turns on Average and you could deal 24 Damage to the Face. And even up to 30 if you King Krush just to happened to be buffed with Savanger’s Inguinity. So Imagine just how much mana you need to ramp up with Guff included. Then again, cards like Nourish can still help benefit your idea.
You’d need around 5-6 Mana boosting Crystal Cards to reach to 20 Mana. So there is quite a bit of doing nothing while your preparing for a much more makeshift exodia.
I don’t know, Pessimitic-wise, 2 Stars just draw Cards with 11 mana crystals. Optimistic WIse, and you asking quit a lot here; 4 Stars. Again, the problem about reaching 20 mana is that you have escpially the early game of not really doing a whole lot of anything. SO you need to gain control for the early and mid-game escpially.
Ho ho ho. Christmas is coming for Druid.
if only Ultimate Infestation were still in standard…
Finally a good druid card.
It’s 5 mana do next-to-nothing where you get the privilege of being able to spend 2 more mana to do nothing. This card is a death sentence against aggression and if you want to play for the slower match up why on earth are you not just playing Allignment?
KoFT Malfurion actually did something when you played him and had a MUCH better hero power.
I really don’t see this as being the alternative to Alignment, but something you play in addition to it. With alignment it goes down to 1 mana and then pays for itself instantly while also cycling you a card.
It’s Wild Growth and 2 mana for a card draw at the very least.
Druid should be able to survive a turn like that.
We better get some value generation this expansion. It’d be sad to have 20 mana but nothing to spend it on.
oh boi i love big stuff and now i get more big stuff!
now all we need is an infinite source of value to put the mana into and we are in business !
The mad lads have only gone and done it! Can’t wait to play with these hero cards next month
This makes your hero power way better than Warlock’s. You get a draw with no damage, or a one mana Wild Growth. If you play this on 6, you can go to 8 mana on that turn along with drawing a card, and gaining 5 armor. I feel like this will make it into every non-aggro Druid deck for sure.
Oh wow they’ve finally done it. They added a way to increase your maximum mana. And it’s not by 2 or 5 even, no it’s by 10. And they gave it to a class that has a lot of expensive cards and combo cards. Now in standard this will most likely see very little play, due to aggro decks being way better and with even more aggro support in this set revealed, I don’t think this hero is going to see the light of day. But in Wild, where there are a lot more ways to protect yourself from face damage, this could be pretty good. Aviana decks might actually see play again because of this card and they wouldn’t even need celestial allignment, but celestial allignment is pretty good as well, because of the hero power adding mana crystals. And even cards like fandral staghelm could see play with this hero power to gain both benefits. And lastly, combos that were previously impossible due to not having enough mana could also see play now (Even though they would most likely be pretty garbage). So overall a very interesting card,I’m exited to see what decks spawn from this card existing.
Seems pretty good. Not overpowered, and not an autoinclude in every deck, but pretty good none the less.
For 5 mana, you get 5 Armour, a mana crystal, draw a card and a better Warlock hero power. Seems pretty good to me
I would say that it will be an easy auto-include in every non-Aggro Druid deck 🙂
