OR “Get Down!” 2.0. This is one of the more interesting Hunter Secrets we have seen in a while now. 3-Cost minions are very often well statted and their health is typically in the 3-4 range, so unlike Noble Sacrifice, the summoned creature doesn’t necessarily die to literally anything that it’s blocking. Still, that does not mean the card is particularly powerful. On one hand, it could be seen as “cheating out” a 3-cost minion for 2 mana, however unlike other similar cards in the same class, it only activates when specifically the face is attacked. Hunters fight for the board and are fought against by whittling down their board – in 9 out of 10 times, the opponent will use their minions to attack yours in the early stages of the game when a 3-cost card is relevant. After that it falls off and becomes barely more than a nuisance for the enemy, though when all is said and done, it does block the attack. As a pseudo-healing card (absorbs face damage), it does look like one of the many unsuccessful tools for the mythical Control Hunter archetype, which still remains unlikely. Obviously we can’t say without having seen the rest of the set, but this card is definitely not enough to support it with the current card pool.

This just kind of strikes me as worse than Freezing Trap. Sometimes it’ll get you something cool that’ll survive or get a good deathrattle, but random effects generally need to be weighted in your favor to be good, and this one strikes me as being… not. The fact that it only works when they go face is especially annoying.
In arena, it’s better than a lot of other Hunter secrets, which isn’t saying much, but it seems better here.

Why would the opponent even bother going face against a hunter ?
They need board control.
As of the rng part,most 3 drops are understated anyway.Yes sometimes you will get a 3/4 but is someone so desperate for that 1 mana situational discount ?

I dont even know why bother making secrets when Cloacked Huntress will rotate soon.
This whats gone happen u play this turn two and your opponent gone try to fight for board control not attacking your face without any hunter draw mechanic this is gone be dead card do nothing. When u play against hunter u are not gone try to race him but get board control. No one cares he is gone do 3 dmg to hunter at turn 2-3 everyone care more for board control and if u can play against this secret its gone be a bad card.

Hunter is the only aggressive class??
What about Pirate Warrior or any Murloc decks or evolve/bloodlust Shaman they sure as hell not going to fight for board control they’re looking to end the game quickly
This is suppose to be a control card and Hunter is terrible at control due to the lack of draw and healing and this card acts as a pseudo-healing for Hunter (as well as a possible minion if it survives)
Did u admit this is horrible card? I have checked stats most of the time its even worth to attack by opponent 2 mana creature or weapon. Its only good when this is 3 mana minion 3/4 or more and its less than 50% for sure. And could be dead card if hunter has some other creatures which your opponent would prefer to attack. This card has more than 50% to have value of 2 mana card. I dont see point of playing this at all now.

would be kinda cool to get Shaku out of this in turn 2 or 3 and have it survive for some value

I feel that this specific card can make Hunter top tier. Mid-secret Hunter will be tier 1
Only time Magma Rager is good
buuut, still not as good as Emperor Cobra or Giant Wasp. Unless you for some reason have Steward of Darkshire on your board. In that case, good on you bud.

Yea, seems pretty good if combined with the last expansion legendary. There really werent that many great “free” secrets for temposwing outside freezing trap.
