I imagine n’zoth decks will run around 6-8 great deathratte minions to improve his consistency (like what people did with anyfin)
with maybe 2 taunt death rattles just to protect the board when n zoth comes out. Then I can see 2 of these guys to have solid bodies come out in the case of a massive board clear, because besides thadius deathratte summon bodies haven’t been this big.
let me change your mind ..
because priest is going to be very good in standard mode :/ (not really they got shitty cards this far and their classic set isn’t good enough)
Herald Volazj with this guy is op! Deathrattle Priest New Meta.
It’s one of those cards I’d be tempted to play on turn 6 or 7 vs a Mage (depending on who went first); go on Flamestrike – I dare you. Might be a pretty humorous card to drop after the Flamewaker comes out as well…
Could also be a useful thing to drop on the board against Warriors (Whirlwind > Execute won’t work as the Destroyer will be unharmed) or Druids (Swipe) … or you could put it in a Warlock deck with Power Overwhelming.
I think this has possibilities but it’ll depend on how much the meta swings towards the control game; vs aggro this isn’t going to be worth it I don’t think – too slow.
Really strong against frostnova with a doomsayer on board.
Just play this and you will get a 5/5 next turn
For those times when 4 mana for a 4-5 yeti just isn’t good enough
This card really interests me in the standard meta. We are getting a lot of lot game junk, I like that.
I think in some decks this card is actually pretty strong. Even by itself it is not crap, because your opponent cant completely ignore it (in comparison to nerubian egg it can attack and trigger its deathrattle effect by itself). And now imagine you play this as a raptor rogue or in a priest deck with herald volazj. Then your opponent is forced to do something. And of course its slow but i dont think too slow. We will see.
Strong in Raptor Rogue and Zoo, and not too bad a choice in N’Zoth decks.
Eh, not great in Raptor. Raptor likes beefy late game Deathrattles, or strong 2-drop death-rattles to power curve into.
Compares best with Shredder. Great Deathrattle, would be wonderful to have on Raptor, but it’s VERY RARE that would you be able to pull that off while still staying on tempo (Turn 7 Combo play at best, since neither this nor Shredder often survive the turn)
this card is pretty bad because you loose all tempo for a not that good effect
in arena, its 4 mana for 6/6 worth of stats. Thats incredible.
*cough* nearubian egg *cough*
Silence cards becoming more and more valuable.
*Silencing
Actually you are wrong to correct them as the sentence is correct either way. They were meaning that cards with silence become more valuable.
Raptor rogue, oh baby!
It’s a 4 mana 6/6 worth of stats, and because it has a dangerous deathrattle, similarly to the nerubian egg, the opponent will ignore it. It is likely that whoever plays it will likely have to be the one to activate it, so it is good statwise, but will be very slow. I think it will mainly be run in synergistic decks such as deathrattle rogue.
Yeah that’s really hard to activate especially when the minion actually has an attack stat
We need to see this guy in the field and figure out his best synergy.
Two words. Deathrattle Rogue.
one word: earth shock
That’s…that’s two words…
UUUUUHHHHH BUSTED
not in Germany 😉
Seems … like … wtf?!?!? I dont know man, can be really good or really bad
Now I see the possibility of nzoth in standard also this card is sick by itself if not a little slow
Seems like an extremely slow version of earth shock. It’s funny how Blizzard is keeping the theme of earth shock obliterating twilight cards. Works amazing in N’Zoth decks and with Unearthed Raptor. Probably too slow for most decks as you will be attacking with a 5/5 on turn 6 when it won’t matter if you don’t activate it with something like whirlwind. In my opinion, outside of synergies with raptor and N’Zoth it’s not very good.
I meant slow version of nerubian egg, brain fart.
It’s slower, but it also doesn’t need to be activated or combo’d in any way.
4 mana 6/6 is not bad, but your opponent is most likely going to ignore this card and go face and you have to use your next turn to attack with it unless you ping with the mage on the same turn so 6 mana 6/6 and once you attack with the 1/1 you have to wait another turn to attack with the 5/5
If you ping it as a mage in the same turn you get a 6 mana 5/5 whats pretty bad.
ITS LIKE KING MUKLA 2.0 ALL OVER AGAIN!
Yeah, just without that bananas 😛 I think dat new Mukla isnt so bad.
