Even without a buff this is still 18 stats for 8 mana. 3/6 taunt for 4 mana is great and playing two of them is better. I know this will see play, if not in constructed, then in Boom’s mech discover pool.
Ok because of this card people might wanna try taunt warrior 5/5 with hanbuff combo

This si just the card i was praying not to be created, guess i will suffer against taunt warrior after all.
As a standalone card this is decent, but coupled with handbuffs it’s great. 4/5

You may want to cut out some of the lesser needed cards from control warrior such as weapons project and harrison jones in order to slot in a taunt package with armagedillo. Insane when this is pulled off omega assembly or delivery drone in combination with dr boom. Won’t be run if the taunt stuff doesn’t work out, and certainly isn’t groundbreaking, but is just really good. 4/5
Wow, just realized its a mech… That makes this a 5 star instead of a 4… they have absolutely no need to make this a mech lol. Discoverable with Omega and the 2/2 taunt, AND 2 big minion with rush on top of that? Nuts
Beware the shudderwock warrior
Its not even the taunt buffs, just watch your opponent get a 6/12 taunt rush split across 2 bodies for 2 mana that is instantly playable. Annoy-o mechs sorry but you aren’t as annoying anymore.

Buffing it with some of the new warrior cards seems good

As it is as a Standalone Card, this is a nice Control version of Saronite Chain Gang for Warrior, but in terms of working along with Armagedillo, I still somehow find it clunky, despite being a +4/+4 worth of stats for Tomb Warden. I would way prefer if it was Into the Fray instead, since it’s a 1 mana card, and you can still play your Tomb Warden as a 9 Mana *10/16, which is straight-up ridiculously powerful. I just don’t like Armagedillo, and I have to be convinced otherwise, but I can still see that they REALLY want to go out of town for Taunt Warrior to happen again, but in a different Retrospective. I’m sure that Wild Quest Warrior has finally gotten their prayers answered, and we got a Very Powerful Card. 5 Stars.
Welp if you buff this even once (by 2) it’s 10/16 stats for 8 mana, not only that but it’s also split in two which can be quite insane. If the buff taunt thing works out this card will love being discovered from the 2-drop. I think this is exactly what taunt warrior needed, some very serious threats. 4/5
These are relatively weak to silence though and there’s even that 2-drop that silences taunts specifically. That being said I don’t think this will get out of hand too much.
Won’t see anyone complain about getting this from Dr Boom hero power or OA and now we see what the objective for hand taunt buff warrior is a saronite chain gang with a mech tag.
does this copy buffed card too? unlike “Saronite Chain Gang” which summon a normal card instead buffed ones.
Yeah it gets the buffs. Saronite chain gang used to summon a buffed copy, but it’s wording was changed to summon a copy of chain gang because of shudderwock.
so we had the 4 mana 2-3 taunt that summoned copy of itself. This was apparently too OP so blizz changed it to summon another chaingang instead of copy. Now they are making exactly the same mistake over again. I guess blizzard just stays true to its ways of nerfing/buffing things without any testing whatsoever as it does in WoW where an ability is nerfed by 5% in one patch, them by additional 2% in next patch, just to be buffed by 10% in another patch that follows.
Lul this card is so much worse than vhain gang, and the reason they changed its battlecry was the interaction with Shuderwok, its’s totally fine as a warrior card, probably only good if you buff it
Yeah… this card cost 8 as well. Saronite was good because it stalled early. If a deck with this card does too well, it will be because of the other early games cards . Not this.
Lul chain gang wasn’t OP for the reason you stated. Chain gang was nerfed for one sole reason, and that’s shudderwock. Had shudderwock not existed in standard with it, chain gang would’ve never been nerfed. Chain gang was not OP in even the slightest way, it was simply played by a ton of decks because it was one of the few 4 drops available that did well in both control and aggro matchups. Only a small number of classes played this because all their 4 drops sucked.
You’re right. The collateral nerf to Keleseth and Val’anyr was really frustrating…

Warrior likes mechs and Warrior likes taunts now (especially with the buff cards) combined stats is 6/12 for 8 which is good especially when split up for warrior which likes to stall. So …. seems good
