Flavor Text
Hold on, I need to get some murlocs to weigh in on this.- Mana Cost: 8

- Arcane Dust Gained: 100 / 400 (Golden)
- Rarity: Epic
- Class: Paladin
- Card Type: Spell
- Set: Saviors of Uldum
- Mechanics: Summon
This Card is nuts! My aggro murloc deck for the current wild format (ashes of outland) is so much fun to play! Check it out!!
This ruins if you haven’t drawn Finley yet
Not enough support for a murloc deck in paladin, and not enough impact when played (aka everything dies to warpath or brawl). You especially don’t want to recruit out your finley with this. Its use as a way to thin your deck for shirvallah seems ridiculous too. 1/5
Yeah, would be god in shaman but Paladin stopped being a Murloc synergizer a long time ago
Loving the pun
a Very good card to build a deck around because it can be fetch and discounted via Prismatic Lense.
Super strong.
This will go great in Wild Anyfin Paladin to either get the combo or finish putting the Murlocs in you res-pool. I might be wrong.
I don’t think this could reliably be used to get the combo, but I think it would be a good tool to pull the rest of your murlocs out in one go, although if you’ve already drawn them all this becomes a lot less effective, so maybe it will be a one of? Or perhaps people will run 2 of this and cut finja?
Could be nice with Prismatic Lens if your only other cards are murlocs. Probably too memey though
yes, swap cost with some murloc card – and you can summon 7 murlocs on turn 3 or 4
That’s assuming you draw lens, then on top of all that don’t hit the 1/3 chance of drawing the other lens, because if you do you’ve effectively done nothing on turn four and will probably nothing on turn 5. I’m also sure that it would require you to run either an enormous amount of minions, which means very little draw engine. So the likelihood of drawing into lens is extremely low, and without that this card is mostly dead; mostly since a board full of minions with 3 or less minions after turn 7 does very little. You can’t even use this with Coldlight on the same turn which makes it extra bad. So all those downsides to have this work maybe 10% of games, and mostly losing to other decks as soon as they drop any early game AOE.
Pretty awful for a Murloc aggro deck, the game will be over long before turn 8 most of the time, for better or for worse.
There might be a world where you want this to thin out your deck, but I doubt it. 1/5
I don’t think I’d run this card in a Murloc Paladin deck, murlocs are aggro oriented, meaning turn 8 doesn’t roll around a lot of the time, you either win or lose before then. Plus, drawing this most of the time in the early game is killer because murloc decks strive for consistent draws and fast murloc buffs to help them win the game faster. Still, a board filler is quite powerful, and if you do manage to get to turn 8, you get a very nice push to win the game. 3/5.
omg not these cards im having back the old murloc paladin ptsd, this card plus anyfin can happen in wild ohh i can feel the chills already
Great so divine wrath pally will now be running murloc decks thins out 7 minions allowing you to go for shirvallah combo easier. Or it’ll run shirvallah combo as an additional win condition for going into late game. And given tasty fins can draw 2 more out gives more reason you just have to work out the other 17 Mana in spells.
Compare this card to Zerek’s Cloning Gallery and you’ll understand why no one plays Priest. Absolutely decimated by superior cards in other classes.
Murloc Paladin is Back, but mind you that have only 2 Ultity Cards for the Deck, such as this one. So you basically have 2 Rafaams but as a spell instead…? Kinda. It’s still a really nice deck, and Pala could use the Card Draw from Tastyfin. We’ll see if he can manage to back both an Aggro, Tempo, and/or Midrange Deck. 4 Stars.
So this doesn’t activate the quest with the reborn morlock, and it can accidentally pull sir finley and get rid of his battlecry. I get that this could be a powerful effect, but where is the synergy with the legendaries.
5 stars just for the name XD
In terms of play-ability probably works well in anything can happen and might replace Finja. Could also do well in regular murloc pally as a sort of super call to arms but that seems less likely.
Hungry Crab 2: The Return
Hang on, it’s summon like a recruit mechanic?
Yes, but Recruit was a Kobolds and Catacombs expansion specific keyword, just like how Echo was a Witchwood mechanic. This is why you see cards that say “repeatable this turn” instead of Echo.
Seems very strong!
the cycle for up to 7 cards is insane – you can empty your deck and use a finisher like Chef Naomi or maybe a Holy Wrath combo.
I had mixed feelings about this until you mentioned Chef Nomi. Thinning you deck out by 7 cards forces this a do-or-die scenario–either you opponent has a board clear and then you’re out-of-gas or they don’t and you probably win–but maybe you don’t care if you’re running a secondary win condition like Nomi or Mechac’thun.
