Destroying your deck is terrible, unless you can buff your minions you will die to fatigue, if you have a taunt minion then your fine.

One combo I can think of is to pair Kazakusan with this in standard for ramp druid. With the new card that draw extra card, you and your opponents will empty deck faster and the conditions of destroying deck wont be that bad and kazakusan will refill back the deck to prevent fatigue. But unfortunately, this combo doesn’t feel that strong yet due to the better options and cards conditions but I definitely dont want to play against this during the late game.

On another note, even without any other minion, it is still a 10/10 immune minion so even with weak minion on board that cause board lock, it is still not so bad having 1 stronger minion.

I don’t think so, if I remember right quest warlock is fairly able to get through their entire deck before turn 10, it’s just a question of if they’ll survive up until that point. The Jailer does nothing to support that, and, in fact sabotages it by the mere fact that it’s a dead card in a deck that wants to quickly burn through their deck, and even if played, doesn’t even adress the board.

I can’t see how a deck focused on hitting your own face should justify playing a 10 mana card that doesn’t either adress the board, heal for a lot or burn your own face.

Very interesting… On one side you’ve got a game-winning effect, on the other, it costs 10 mana, and if your opponent DOES have the removal they need, you just lost.

Aggro/tempo decks won’t give you the time to play 10 mana ‘skip a turn for future value’, while control decks might just be able to remove your immune minions (random effects or full board clears).

Of course it’s also entirely possible that there isn’t enough removal that can kill Immune minions at which point control decks may want to slot in the jailer and slap other control decks.

10 mana though, for an effect that effectively does nothing to adress the current board state, and you start taking fatigue right away… All your taunts turn into regular minions for obvious reasons too, which is undesireable after you’ve spent 10 mana doing ‘nothing’.

I’m going to make the bold prediction that it will be 1/5

It doesn’t say “immune while attacking” so I think that means that no removal or silence effects can stop your board. The hard part is keeping your board sticky for a turn, since you’ll need 10 mana to play your jailer, unless you discount it somehow.

Immune minions can be killed by ‘random’ destroy effects or full board-wide clears. They circumvent Immune. Note however that the removal must DESTROY the minion, no amount of damage dealt will affect them.

The only full board clear we have in the game (standard, not wild) is brawl (which leaves one minion alive which you hope is your own) or Whirlpool, meaning Quest/Thief Priest becomes an archetype we’ll see more often if this does in fact see play and becomes too frequent on ladder.

For Wild this will no see play at all. Aggro will kill you before you can play him, combo too since most focus uninteractive otk’s like Mecha’Cthun. All control decks viable have Twisting Nethers or Cataclysm, that 9-cost priest spell that I think is called Silence Death, a meme mage can call upon *Poof* HC. If they are big minions over 5 attack (which would be opimtal targets) than DK Anduin has clear too, not to mention Shadow Word: Ruin at his disposal. Rogue are more of a delay tactic but there is vanish and Scabbs and any big minion would be so cost worthy to play again. Neptulon Priest is better off without since it ruins the consistency of summoning either Neptulon or Bloods to summon him. Just my take.

I know you agreed, I was just agreeing with you further because I see a lot of people thinking this is will be good and it was nice to see like-minded folk.

How exactly do all your taunts turn into regular minions? Being an invincible minion that prevents any damage to face from board..

Hm apparently I knew that immune meant can’t be numerically damaged & can’t be targeted although can be destroyed, but I didn’t know that immune negates taunt if something has both.
