This is a cool card, but it’s not very good. It’s slow, weirdly statted for a value minion, and kind of clunky costed. Like imagine stealing a strong 6-8 drop from your opponent. You’ll realistically need to play this & the card you steal in the same turn, meaning you need to be at 9-10 mana IF you can even play it to begin with.

If you YOLO this out hoping it sticks, I guess it could work, but your opponent is honestly more likely to play the card you stole before you can play it yourself.

This is a 1 star legendary.

Seems super bad. Getting cards from your opponent’s deck is already bad (always has been) and stealing a bunch of them from your opponent by dropping them when you didn’t even want to just because you have this card feels like a bad play. Stealing cards from your opponent is worse than people might think: people just don’t care that much about the cards they don’t have in hand, unless it’s a combo piece of sorts, and many of them are expensive and not good to play unless you have the whole combo set up. Overall, feels like a fun meme card.

I waited for so long to see a card like this in Priest! If feel it should cost a bit more and have a “rest of the game” effect or some kind of protection instead of being a low cost minion. The way it is now, one can hope to do turn 10 plays to actually manage to steal a couple of cards that haven’t been already played at that stage of the game. I hope thief priest gets more gifts in this set

    This card is a meme.

There is no good support for this card, the caravan or the 1/1 psychic are too bad.

So this card will get a support in this expansion. But overall even you steal a card, you have to pay a lot for this effect, which is often irrelevant and situational.

Maybe there is an OTK meta til rotation 2024, than this card will see play. But now just a too slow and situational card.

    2/5

To be realistic, this card is just not gonna cut it. You can maybe play 1 card besides this lad and stealing 1 card is definitely not worth it. It will be fun to see the highlights where priest does manage to just steal a whole bunch of cards, but that won’t make it good.

    2/5

I don’t see this being often enough to be impactful, nor it living long enough to even have the chance to be. If a whole slew of very powerful copy effects are in this set then sure, but even with a reasonable support package I just can’t see copy Priest being viable enough for this to see more than niche play. I reckon it will be a 2/5 card but similar with many of the other cards we’ve seen where the build around was shown first I don’t know what else we’ll see for this set so I’ve given it a 3/5.

Classic “going to be overrated until people play with it and realize how hard it is to make work”.

That’s a very disruptive card, not a fan.

Hate to play against things like this, but it sounds fun to play 😀
