it’s underated, remember the 3/4 that draw you a card and fixed his cost to 5 ‘if i remember), there is something to do with this.
The card is obviously a meme. It is a symmertical effect, which never worked in hs, and it has also the possibiilty to backfire. Fun card for the montages though.
Hehe I’ll try it in paladin to try and screw somebody over with a 25 cost card
Eeeehh.. It’s okay. to some, they see this as a meme filler card, and to other, they could try and abuse this along with Filling the Opponent’s deck with nothing but 1 mana 1/1 Albatrosses. So… It’s a very experimental card, but it just requires some thoughtful planning and some bravery to play Tentacled Menace. Right off the bat, I can’t think of much, but I can see how some players just want to draw a Key card to become cheaper, such as a guarantee malygos costing 7 or even 3 mana instead of 9, just because they figured out there hi-roll by semi-luck. So it’s not completely RNG where you draw a card and hope for the best. You can legit partially think about what possible cards you want, (although you do plan for that at the late game of hearthstone.) Still, I would personally rate this at 2 stars, and for others who love this gimmicky idea, could rate it 5. It’s just not my cup of tea card.
In my opinion, this is better than Prismatic Lens. It might be more expensive and less reliable (especially in mirror matches), but it also gives a 6/5 Body and can be drawn by Call to Adventure. Another upside is that you, if this is succesful, ruin one of your opponents cards instead of yours. Also, since this is neutral, decks like Big Ramp Druid will love this as well.
However, Big Priests wont play it because it messes up their ressurection.
4/5 Stars.
This is an interesting card I can only imagine how pissed someone would get if pally used this and pulled shirvallah. Overall this is a card that would potentially be run in decks with high cost cards which could interfere with decks running cheap units. Play this and laugh at opponent if you pulled say a 10 cost card. Can also backfire but I’m sure people will make a deck that takes advantage of this.
what… is… this…. good… for…?
Big decks. You draw something big and hope the opponent draws something small. That will give your big card a huge discount while making the opponent’s card pretty much useless. Therefor this effect is actually really strong as mana cheat should never be underestimated.. But it probably won’t see much play considering how irrelevant Big decks have been lately.
no, no, no.. you don’t get it.
you need to decide when picking 30 cards, all of those cards need to have a “real” purpose,
whether in winning-key, board clear, good synergies, etc.
This, this had none of that. beside, I don’t think my deck can be spared to include this one with so many dragons around.
You just got an answer: the purpose is to hopefully cheat out a Colossus for 4 mana while your opponent is stuck with a 10 mana Frizz. Although it’s inconsistent by all means, it’s at least a card cycle and a 6/5 minion for 5 mana.
Will it be included in any big decks?
Maybe and maybe not but you can at least be sure that the memes will be strong with this one.
This is actually a pretty great card for any “Big decks”. Big decks haven’t been a thing for a while and unless Big Paladin becomes a thing thanks to Nozdormu, I don’t see this card seeing much play.
Problem is that even the biggest of big decks need to play low cost cards – you know… to stay alive. So this is some totally unreliable midrange play that might backfire.
Unplayable meme card.
This comment wasn’t supposed to be a reply. Don’t know why this happened. *shrug*
