SE VIENE NERF
This card is potentially gamebreaking.
So heres my prediction. This kind of naga mage will actually be a fire naga tempo mage. That runs like a basic tempo mage, but for cheap spells it runs hot streak, ignite, first flame etc- while also having the naga benifactors like the Giant and this card. Allowing for a few swing turns with mana cheat OR playing Archmage antonidas the new one we got ans never used( lol) but now we might want to in a fire naga tempo mage.
As always, card with cheating mana ability will always a high target for nerf. Save this card for that sweet dust.
Ah crap, too fast to click reply, forgot to even rate the card.
This would work as quick as turn 6, since you need some naga cards to activate the mana cheat, followed by cheap spells which Mage already have quite a lot. Because no one in their right mind gonna allow this card to stay on board.
What I’m curious is, whether HS will print a 0 cost 1/1 naga-ling in this expansion, or Core set?
Because it would be pretty scary, play this turn 4, refresh 2 mana with 0 cost naga, the effect can be snowballing. Yeah probably nerfed to 1 mana refresh.
Wtf is that?!?!?! 5/5
If it starts with Play Naga and don’t include itself. Then it is decent, but not game breaking so that is nice. Since many Naga doesn’t have rush, it is also limited by the number of nagas you can get on your board. So doubt any crazy combos will come of it, but maybe some dex will like a few mana refreshes.
Though if you duplicate it, it might be able to do something crazy. And have spells to kill your own extra nagas.
LOL
WHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! HOLY CRAP- im happy. Naga mage yay.
Naga Mage is a thing with this card! Wow, is bit conditional but the whole new spells/nagas package feels really solid in this new “Value” deck, this card is an enabler. 4/5.
I mean it is definitely good, but this is no Darkglare. Darkglare was cheaper and also had WAY more 1 mana enablers allowing you to go “infinite”. This most likely just ends up being a 0 mana 2/4 that has a soft taunt since there aren’t nearly enough cheap nagas printed right now for this to get insane value. Also, you need to go Naga first which means you are looking at like turn 6 “playability” with the amalgam (if it was spell first you could have used coin on 4).
WTF!
This will get nerfed for sure.
Pretty crazy in every naga/spell combo deck.
Most of the time will be use turn 7 or 8 and then you can do crazy things.
It is really easy to trigger, there are often very cheap spells.
There was this warlock thing where you got 2 mana when your hero take damage, this was just crazy and annoying because every “refresh mana” effect is normally pretty good.
