The quest text says “Cast a fire, frost, and arcane spell” …. note: it does not say “PLAY” the spell
This means cards like Ring Toss can be used to Trigger it’s effect.
also cards like Enchanted Cauldron, Inconspicuous Rider, and Trick Totem (if you’re running minions)
I hate to agree, this QL is way too slow.
9 cards of different school is too restrictive, and you may not find it at some point.
Unless there’s some chances they print Dual School spell.
For example, Frost and Fire Breath in 1 card.
or even card like Rainbow Missiles. Fire 3 missiles that each randomly freezes, damages and devolves minion. I know it sounds too good and irrational, but that alone will greatly support this one.
We won’t know.

No, but there’s a lot of fire spells now, at the cost of not getting a mount card.
Score not changing. Still 2/5 because adding a bunch of fire spells not gonna change the fact that it’s still too hard to finish the quest.
Plus you need more custom made deck if you want to complete questline. (can’t put random spells into it)
I mean, Frostfire Bolt card could have been dual school spell.
I am not going to rate this card now, as there are not enough good frost and fire spells.
Nit picking here but the name of the first card “Sorcerer’s Gambit” should be changed to something non gendered to work with Varden Dawngrasp’s non binary status.
Technically Sorcerer is genderless, since masculine is considered default, unlike feminine version (Sorceress).
Too slow, unless we get some really good low cost burst.
I think this is okay, especially since we have a fun murloc that loves to chomp minions out of peoples hand.
So, this is Basically a No Minion Mage’s Wet Dream. Since Mage has all 3 specific Cards to begin with.
They nerfed Deck of Lunacy, but they will allow a Permanent Aegynn if you complete the quest.
This Quest is Ridiculous., even if you have to cast all 3 at once.

this quest is right now 1 star, without other cards revealed. There are just not enough worth frost and fire spells. Like fireball u dont want to use it to finish quest. You want to use after finishing the quest. And in no minion mage u usually mulligan for incanters flow.
As a wild player, this won’t be busted at all, and I don’t see how it could be in standard, where there is a far less diversified spell pool. That said, your suggestion is right, it could enable a different style of no-minion mage, with unique builds instead of just Flow and Lunacy. (I thought of a secret deck, as ancient mysteries is arcane, ice barrier is frost and flame ward/explosive runes are fire)
If you play this card in a no-minion deck, it can be easy countered by Mutanus. Unless that you play the reward card in the same turn you complete the quest.
