I think 9 mana is enough. in my opinion it’s bad becouse it can easy be counter by a minion with silence. That card need to be invisible for something like that. then it’s op becouse oponent must trade and clear the board example.
2 expensive and 2 slow. Compare it to ancient of war, it’s worse and costs 2 mana. If opponent removes it with a spell that’s at least 1 removal gone.
Buddy it cant be targeted by spells! The whole point of this card is to make minions attack it! Besides, Ancient of war is Druid and needs a nerf, im surprised it didnt get one in the update….
If someone don’t like this card, then give this at list a plus for the possibility to come out of let’s say unstable portals, or a paltress. Think guys would you be happy if this pops from thoughs cards? I think yes
Terrible way to think about, what if a portal called it out you say? well MAYbe then since itll be cheaper sure could make it playable considering the current mana cost for the stats effect being ok. Would i be glad? NO, cause why not portal something GOOD for its mana cost in the first placem thus making portaling it great value, dont think well portal makes this cost closer to what it should VERY expensive to make this a good value if you have to now spend mana for portal to save some mana on this card lol. THINK ABOUT IT! Portal can make this card cheaper but wasting portal to make this card better means now the value = The mana spent on portal and the mana to drop it, that adds up to the same bad value if you just played it at current cost!
I really tried to find something good about this card, but there isn’t really much to say in that regard. The card by itself has bad stats for it’s mana cost. They wouldn’t be so bad, if the card had a good battlecry or deathrattle, but it’s basically just a supersized Arcane Nullifier X-21, which I think is terrible from a Design Standpoint, cuz it’s a legendary. Furthermore we are likely to enter a control meta after the release of this expansion so everybody is going to play a crap ton of silences. In my opinion almost every other 9 Drop is a better choice for a constructed list, but I guess if the meta really slows down a lot it could see some play in Decks which are able to summon it, without paying it’s mana cost. I don’t think it will have an impact on arena either, because spell removals are rare in arena and a card like north sea kraken, which has better stats, is quite common. So overall this card is just not good enough on it’s own by all means, but can become useful if summoned from portals, varian etc.
should be 8 mana 6/9 is a arcane nulifier buffed by four shattered sun clerics.
shatered sun cleric:2 mana for the body 1 for effect:+4+4=4 mana
arcane nulifier:4 mana 2/5 +4+4=6/9
to put all of his in a card: become legendary

Am i the only one who thinks that this card ,with this artwork, should be a giant..??
… and like the other giants should have a mechanic for lowering the summoning cost even if only by a bit (-1 for each other Taunt Minion in play maybe).
It is a good card but not perhaps amazing… though I can imagine that, paired with Anubisath Sentinel, this may cause a moment or two of pause.
sucks that they’re making the best control card in standard a legendary. hopefully everyone else is right and this card’s too expensive to work as an anti-aggro tool because this is bullshit
uh, the “best anti-aggro” card does NOT hit the board turn 9. Unless you and I have completely different concepts of what a “aggro” deck is
this card would be a lot better if it was an epic… seems like a good utility card that you have 2 copies of in a control deck. other than that it goes well with ya’saarj (probrably butchered the spelling)
This card is bassically much much worse bolf ramshield
Bold ram shield can’t protect other minions, plus any effects that could hurt only the hero such as hunter hero power and mind blast could be used to remove him. I imagine that with guy will be a better ram shield since he can’t be removed via spell, can’t be hit by Bgh and has a massive amount of health. This card is decent at holding off minions how ever if they have enough spell burst in hand then hes worse than ram shield in that one situation.
Finally, ive been waiting for a card like this. the two scenarios where this card will be great in are 1. (If you have board control) and the minions your opponent does manage to play can be picked off be yours. 2. (if the board is empty) then this card protects from your opponents drops as well as giving you some turns to pick up tempo

chances are if the game reaches turn 9, the hunter would likely have used their owl or owls

This card is going to be better than it’s rated. Just you wait. Also happens to be one of the few minions that you can play before Yogg-Saron and have almost no risk whatsoever of it dying.

Anceient War is just as good for 2 mana less i think.
Ancient of War gets ruined by hex and polymorph. Also this can’t be killed by pyroblast in a moment of desperation.
This could be the best card in arena period. It’s getting a lot of hate, but in arena you drop this thing and you’re in a good spot. A REALLY good spot.
A really good spot if you’re ahead. Spells in arena are scarce already so the “magic shield” wont change much. Plus taunt in arena doesn’t matter most of the times, stats are the backbone of a good card, your health is merely a resource; ultimately this legendary is a bad legendary even in arena. You’re spending 9 mana… 9! thats your whole turn, which means if you’re on a par or behind with the board this card is terrible… Also you’re playing this on turn 9 if not later, by this time plenty of other minions have better stats and can easily kill it without even dying (take boulderfist ogre for example).
I guess since we’re getting so much ‘weaker’ legendaries the meta will be slower and the avarage legendary goes down, maybe it’ll see play since it is better than most other legendaries released. If I would happen to get this card from a pack I would try it out bevore just dusting it
Overpriced, apart from that excellent. If you can somehow put it onto the battlefield at no cost, it would be amazing.

I really like this card and might have to craft it. It has my two favorite abilities on one card and cool art. My favorite legend so far.
I think this card would get a lot of value against midrange decks (if you can avoid the burst for 9 turns) but he’s too slow to do anything against aggro/tempo, and he won’t trade well other late-game minions.
Having messed around with Arcane Nullifier in some decks, I can say that untargetability is very strong. Yes, it can still get hit by battlecries, but that still makes him way harder to remove.
So, upside: hard to remove without trading. Will probably take down 2-3 midrange minions.
Downside: doesn’t trade that well against other late-game minions.

Seems really weak against Paladins (Aldor, Uldaman, Equality, etc.), but other than that seems okay. I don’t think it’ll be seen in too many places. Compared to Captured Jormungar (same stats), you pay 1 mana for taunt and 1 mana for “can’t be targeted”, so it seems a little overcosted.

I think this is a bit costly, but is still a good card (save for silences). It puts a taunt on the board that is difficult to remove and would require some heavy board control in order to counter. I think this card will be run in some control decks.

Keeper of Uldaman can be played by one class. How many classes does this game have? 9. Can the meta shift away from paladin? potentially yes.

Yeah but a good chunk of those are leaving with GvG and Naxx and silences don’t actually remove it. Also the cards that deal 1 damage multiple times need to go through 9 health, so you’d need to be insanely lucky to remove this with those.

i think shadowflame is unlikely too, just the buffed giants if shadowflamed kill this, but if you have a buffed giant you just hit and kill this. also most of theese cards have never seen any use in constructed.
