Could be used in druid that traditionally struggle with removal and have ramp to get to 7 mana faster. But that’s about it and meta depending.
If this was 5 mana and not 7 it could be good. As is, you don’t really care all that much for a 3 damage AOE past Turn 7 if you can’t follow it up with anything significant. 2/5
On the one hand, this is an expensive card with a conditional effect, meaning it could quite often be a dead card in hand. On the other hand, if you can get it off it’s comparable to a flamestrike with a body, except it’s neutral and might be good if the board becomes important, which we’ve kinda seen with cards like xhilag and bioluminescence.
If people aren’t playing the more flexible board clear that is the Sneed’s legendary for 1 more mana, I don’t think this is happening.
This card’s only saving grace is if they print a mana cheater like Frizz Kindleroost and a Naga deck takes off.
So i think the big issue here is that, who tf cares about 3 damage at turn 7. Also, if you top decked this its useless. Youd want this early in the game just so you can use it when you need to. This also doesnt wven have good stats. Its vanilla.
