This is bad compared to undercity huckster. But It´s really a 3 mana 2 – 3: draw an ok card, which is really good.

This card is an insult like most other Rogue cards, 5 mana 5/3, 3 mana 2/3, 4 mana 3/2, 5 mana 4/4.
Rogue got so many minions that have such bad stats and are not even worth playing, it is an insult to the people that love Rogue, we sit here and wait for new Rogue Cards reveal and the only things we’re seeing are some OP cards for Mage, Warock and Priest, the 3 classes that have been getting all of it while the other classes get nothing in comparison.
If Rogue in particular doesn’t get something spectacular from this expasion i’m afraid it will become the worst class yet.
Seeing a legendary (!) like that for my favourite class hurts me so much. Rogue needs heal (doesn’t have ANY heal card!!) and AoE such as Fan of Knives. Why do they push that annoying inconsistent steal effects in a class that is already really inconsistent? And even if the effect of this card works once, it is so much worse than Undercity Huckster….. Crap!!
I think it is one of the best card! (in arena) In standard 400 dust to craft a priest card 🙁 🙁
Not bad, but why is it a legendary? Feels much more like just a common/rare grade.
No way, the card has an epic effect that would be op if there was 2 of it in a single deck.
so..we get more inconsistent burgle effects on a really “meh” minion? Also isn’t burgle going to be cycling out sometime in the new year? ….we better see like at least 3-4 more burgle effects otherwise the only good thing rouge got so far is…well….literally the coin lmao! and all that does is make miracle/maly rouge “better” …
The meta is looking to be about Value. This card is not played on curve, and it is not a 3/2 which makes it a target for priests.
I don’t think this card is any good:
-doesn’t always guarantee a card
-you will almost never get a second hit for another card
-stealth effect almost useless since the card itself (the stats) is no threat
-in almost all cases just an undercity huckster with 1 extra hp
-not even a fun card, effect is the same as hucksters deathrattle, burglars battlecry and burgle as a card
It think it’s a waste of a card spot and shouldn’t be used on ladder. It also isn’t a fun card because its effect already has been used alot. I think they were trying to push the steal rogue and I think they failed to do it with this legendary
It guarantees a card 95% of the time. No one will clear this off before your first attack. And your opponent will clear it up. They want to deny card draws.
It pushes this mechanic. With more cards with the same effect it gets better. Now you have 5 minions in a deck with this effect. Its not fun because it´s not new?
Why is this a legendary card it’s worse than any steal card in rogue plus rogue need removal cards and heal not cheap legendary that won’t steal a thing.
They will never give heals and great aoe´s to rogue. They want to keep the classes different. Some will have weapons, some will have secrets, some will have aoe, some will have healing.
well maybe when a class is required to take damage for their hero power to be remotely effective a single heal or two wouldn’t hurt. Having a weapon class with only a single buff to their weapons would be nice to add some variety too. Having a class identity as an inconsistent thief is never a good starting point.
One thing you said makes no sense at all.
Why sould rogue need removal?
They probably have the best early to mid game removal in the entire game and it isnt even bad lategame with malygos either.
What rogue needs is an identy and good boardclears, now that they have even removed knife flurry from the game.
maybe this card will combo with another new rouge’card, I hope… cause its useless atm, realy useless I guess
Maybe something related with the stealth mechanic in this new expansion
I don’t think this card is going to do well on ladder if you look at the priest cards.
Another low-stat line and cool-effect minion. You’re almost guaranteed at least one class card, and more if you combo this with something like conceal (let’s be honest; this thing isn’t surviving more than one turn). Good addition to Burgle Rogue, and potentially great if Rogue gets even more stealth cards to make “Stealth Rogue” an actual thing *cough*MasterOfDisguise*cough* :3
Pretty under-average though; I feel that Burgle, Huckster, and Swashburglar are all strictly better in a Burgle-oriented deck, but meh. Oh I almost forgot; if you get Windfury or Windspeaker off of the Faction card, you can get two… Eh, idk. If I unpack it, it’s probably going into my decks simply for swag purposes 😀
Yes, another card to push for steal rogue. I think that the card is great however doesn’t really bring anything new to the rogue class. But great nonetheless.
It’s really bad. Why play this instead of huckster. You will only ever get 1 card (unless u r reallly lucky) and its 3 mana.
You don´t replace huckster, you play both. It makes the burgle theme more consistant.
Doesn’t make Ethereal Peddler show up more times though, this is a weak body like most of the rogue cards and doesn’t do anything worth using just like a lot of the Rogue cards.
And remember that minion called Cutpurse? I remember, it wasn’t successful at all because of the requirements and it’s the same with this card.
