Pretty standardized card to have for something like Secret Hunter. 4 Stars.
Mehhh… This will probably see some play in face hunter, but asides from that idk. A 5/4 stealth on turn 3 is alright I guess, but does it really make up for the tempo loss of playing a secret on turn 2? I’m not so sure.
I think this might just end up being a deck filler, the first card you’d want to cut out of your face hunter deck.
I mean it’s good, but Hunter needs good secrets. This is directly competing with a 3 mana 6/6 for having a secret active and that card sees no play because it’s just way too easy to trigger the secrets to deny these sort of effects.
It’s not really too easy to trigger the secrets lol. Snake trap and the secret that summons an animal companion exist.
But overall playing a 2 mana secret on turn 2 is just too low tempo, and making up for it on turn 3 with a 6/6 isn’t powerful enough.
Okay then, they try to push Secret Hunter again. I can bet when Core rotated, it’ll bring a bunch of Hunter secrets along.
Mostly guaranteed as one of the great card. 3 cost, 4/3 body with +1/+1 & stealth which surely survive the board is definitely gonna see play. 4/5.
Now, we’ll just have to wait what kind of secrets they printing. If it was horrible, there’s a chance this won’t see anyplay.
