I don’t know, this kind of buff usually doesn’t work out. The stats are a lot, and I mean it: imagine dropping these two on turn 3 or 4 and suddenly creating a 7/7 out of nowhere. It feels pretty strong, but realistically speaking I don’t see it happening. Silver Hand recruits can be get ridden off really easily, so you either buff them as soon as you summon them or you won’t get the chance afterwards. That being said, I can see Promotion being plaid in a Quest paladin deck, so at least there’s that.
Give +3/+3 to a minion for just 1 mana is pretty strong. I never seen such huge buff before.
With the support from new location, the dude legendary, dude core set support and the Dude support cards from this expansion, dude pally can be actually a thing.
A very board centric archetype and you can put good stats to the field at once.
Dude pally will be really good this expansion especially with this 1 mana spell.
There are a few cards which will release and is a potential candidate to be a good archetype, I belive in this archetype, would be cool if it makes the cut in the meta.
Make this tradeable or an extra mana and work on 2 dudes
It took my a long moment to verify that I was reading this correctly and not just in an unawaken stupor. This is fine? If you’re just desperate for cards in your Dude Paladin deck you probably don’t hate this but it just feels really slow and unimpactful for an include. The buff is nice but you’re looking at turn 3 (turn 2 with the coin) minimum to get your vanilla 4/4 out and that isn’t even particularly hard to remove in modern Hearthstone. I was too tired to properly click on the rating above, but I’d say 2/5.
promotion + hero power costs 3 mana. is a 3 mana 4/4 worth it? Probably not…
2.5/5
