(Rating based on play it will see in the upcoming meta, similar to trump’s ratings)

    4 Stars, run with Khadgar.

    It’s strong but random. 4/5

Well it’s not TO random since it’s discover and a lot of 6 cost tend to have at least about 4 attack so it has uses and drop this with khadgar on turn 9-10 and you get 5 minions on the board even more depending on if you pull cairne or the mechanical dragon. This is also a great card to pull from blast wave unlike it’s cousin glacial mysteries. That card pissed me off as theif rogue when I’d rng it.

With Sindragosa, The Lich King and Alanna rotating out, Control Mage is gonna need some new late game threats, and this could fill that role. I’m ready for the Reckless Rocketeer lethal highlights. I counted about 7/23 minions I’d be happy to get from this. 4/5

Power of Creation seems like it could be an Arena all star like its cousin, A New Challenger, but between Mage’s generally lackluster minion line-up and the high cost of the card, I’m not convinced this’ll really see play in constructed.

A New Challenger for Mage, but actually doesn’t suck.

It actually reminds me of unnerfed call to arms. For 4 mana you’d summon 6 mana worth of minions (Provided you’re playing even Pali). Now for 8 mana, you summon 12 mana worth of minions. This card will see play, no doubt. 4.5/5

Could fit control Mage’s style if you want to include big spells but also be able to generate a big board quickly. Some high roll potential but most of the time it’ll just be a decent pile of stats. Combo with Khadgar has some game-winning potential. 3/5

Has potential, but something about it just leaves me skeptical… like, at turn 8, aggro and midrange are threating lethal, and there’s no guarantee you’ll get a Taunt or Rush off this.

Also worth pointing out that not counting what they might print this expac, Mage’s 6 mana minions are REALLY BAD to summon with this- Arcanosaur, Meteorologist, and Toki. They will shove their way into a lot of your discover pools with this card.

Wow 8 cost spell is this the trade for glacial rotating? If so it’s a definite improvement. There’s actually a couple 6 cost be nice to pull. Most of which are neutral damaged stego, whelpling, sunwalker, cairne, and the harpy. If includes other classes got a few more there’s a couple bad pulls but most have at least 4 attack. Overall it’s a rather good card especially if high roll the big values and no telling what other 6 costs will come out.

Just saw khadgar at 10 Mana this could summon 4 6 cost minions and if pulled cairne that’s a lot of value that can’t be board cleared easily.
