Perpetual Flame Additional Information
You get 1 extra Overload for each time it’s created. E.g. if you play it and then it’s cast 2 more times, you get a 3 mana Overload in total.
Does it work with unbound elemental every time it is cast or just when you play it?
if it does it is super cool turn 4 removal + strong minion
I think it does, yeah. Pretty cool combo, although it overloads you a lot.
I’m not sure if it keeps overloading you as it recasts itself;
if it does, that’s pretty much how Overload should be employed in the first place: do a VERY BIG move in one turn for the mana available/invested and pay the toll the turn after; there’s way too may Shaman cards with an unjustified “Overload” in their text as the number of cards that take advantage of Overload are minimal and there is no more “Remove Overload” since WotOG; this is not one of the unjustified ones, tho.
5.1/5 (Overload 0.1)
Shamans will go crazy for this, trust me. Especially when there is Spell Damage to help you with Perpetual Flame? We have a Minion version of this and it’s The Lurker Below.
If anything, although the Overload does suck, this is an Anti-Aggro Card, to help give you some Breathing Room yourself. I would Recommend using this for an Aggro, Tempo or Midrange Shaman though since I don’t think that Control would care all that much unless they had Bonus Fire Spell Damage.
5 Stars.
