When she sees the new druid deck you’ve built:
Better sprint with an upside if you’re running heal synergy. Great in the singleton deck. 5/5
Don’t compare this to UI. Just because it’s a big spell that contains the number ‘5’ in it doesn’t mean it’s another UI. The card this should be compared with is Sprint. This is definitely a 5/5
Drawing cards is plusgood. 5/5
It’s a Mini Ultimate Infestation for Druid and Heal Druid. Boy is this card going to see play. If I could I’d give it 6 Stars, because I’ve seen the Horrors of what UI can do. Looks like Druidstone is right around the Corner for Next April, so be Prepared. 5 Stars.
Welcome back combo druid. Some people will be annoyed, but I, for one, am pleased 🙂
It looks like a good card but there’s several conditions that need at least one met before you would play this.
1 Lucentbark has to be on field and dead this is a big one since would give back a taunt of value.
2 one or both of the new taunt is either in hand or drawn so can drop out on board for 0 Mana Alla arcane tyrant.
3 your running a cheap cost deck that can empty hand semi quickly at need.
4 you would most likely want to use from 8-10 Mana in order to use some kind of follow-up card.
5 your opponent doesn’t have a big field. Healing all of your opponent a minions could be a bad thing granted there are classes this could be abused against.(looks at Northshire Cleric) that would suck if got caught in a position to draw huge amount of cards.
Draw 5, Heal 5 is a pretty strong card.
7 Mana, draw 5 cards and restore 5 health to your hero is already auto-include in every control deck. Sprint doesnt see play right now because Rogue lacks late game cards. Druid has late game cards. Lucentbark and the 3/5 0 mana Taunt are a nice bonus, but this is already worth playing for 5 cards and +5 health for your hero. This needs no synergie.
Thing is this isn’t just heal your hero this heals all characters including your opponents hero and all their minions. That right there can put a big hitch in this cards value against certain decks.
Of course this can happen, but I think this wont happen often enough to prevent this card from being played. Biology Project has a similar downside but it saw play as well. When a control deck plays this card, the enemy hero is most likely undamaged and there are no minions on the board, which removes the downsides.
See? i am not freaking crazy, rogue have such overcosted spells, than druid not even draw only 4, but 5 and do something else, but sure, nerf prep, the reason why all my cards cost a lot and keep shoving down my throat inconsistent but fun, overcosted minions and spells.
This is a bit worse than Sprint though same cost 1 more draw but it heals ALL characters for 5 including opponents. Sprint you can at least prep it down to 5 cost draw 4 and play another card. This card is mostly only good if run in a cheap card deck. Also 5 cards is a lot to draw saw that with UI since it’s 1/6th of the entire deck closer to 1/4th by the time you could play it. It could put you in danger of a fatigue especially when look at other cards druid has for draw like nourish. 1 Mana less gives 2 crystals or 3 draw. Doesn’t do anything to help opponent and with quest reward it does both effects. Overflow feels more like a card you don’t play until after get 10 Mana crystals to keep from losing to much tempo the new taunt helps but you have to have in hand or draw it.
I hate you, and your prep comment, not all rogues must be forced upon expensive cards just because “But hey, they could prep it”, but i will admit this si just biased/justified rant, 2 preps don’t make justice of set after set receiving expensive spells.
Anyway, is a control oriented card, for heal druid, with also has cheap spells, and healing the opponent is also a way to keep summoning the big guy, so in a whole deck stand point, this is a good fair card even considering the downside, and i must repeat, FAIR card, not broken so the playability is still on hold like UI was..
I just make that comment because it’s a CLASSIC card for rogue meaning it will be available till a point it somehow ends up in HoF this will rotate out after 5th set from now is released. And is only effective with cheap cards and heal druid Sprint has its value atm when rogue uses cards to add to deck.
Yes, i am aware of it being a classic card, still not relevant to this card, also you say this is effective for cheap cards and procede to say sprint as an example, with being a prep up 4 mana draw 4 was a valid point, most decks if any effective nor valid, runs myra unstable element over a mere sprint, but again we are taking of the card in discussion since you seem to fail the issue.
Me reffering to cheap cards has to do with druid easily flooding hand with cards due to the generating cards as well as stronger reasons to play draw. 5 cards is a good chunk of the deck and with fill half your hand size. So having cheap cards you can use to cut down on size some is valuable. Because of the quest reward cards that had draw as an option would now always draw leaving an option of drawing to quickly. If most of your cards are pricy.
For rogues draw Myra may be better but point of that is more to empty out deck so when you play a refill card your deck is made of only that type. Until you have the materials in hand though you don’t play that.
Daaaaaaamm
How would this work with Lifeweaver? Would it give you a random druid spell for each character healed (kind of like how you draw a card for each minion healed with Northshire Cleric) or would it only be a single spell since it it one instance of healing?
The wording is very similar on the two cards so I can see it working either way.
If it gives a spell per character healed that value is amazing.
I think this could be good under the specific circumstances of making your minions healthy enough for trades, playing the new 3/5 taunt for free, and resurrecting lucentbark. Not sure yet if any of that will be plausible in the coming meta
Um… it’s a card. Probably won’t be played but it exists.
Nice evaluation, LMAO
Unless we get some new ramp I don’t think it’s that good. Perhaps with good heal synergies
This card is likely to be good, 7 mana draw 5 is really good, and this also receives Lucentbark and heals your face, 4/5 at least.
This card is likely to be good, 7 mana draw 5 is really good, and this also revives Lucentbark and heals your face, 4/5 at least.
What the hell happened to my comment.
*Rogues cry in the corner with Sprint in hand*
I was thinking the exact same thing
Yeah, but we know by now Blizzard wants all classic and basic cards nerfed to the ground or to be literally useless, so I don’t want to compare it to those cards. But yes it’s literally a sprint with upside.
7 mana draw 5?? It’s not quite ultimate infestation which also let you put board presece but drawing 5 for 7 is really good. A must have in highlander druid deck if there ever will be one.
And yeah wether the heal exists or not is quite unrelevant. Lucentbark thanks though. Somewhat hard to say if Druid can run this yet in the upcoming meta but we’ll see. 4/5
