Looks powerful on paper but in reality Idont think this will be useful. Not many things you can do with this, besides summon minions that dies in the next trade, or sling random spells like puzzle box but way way worse

    Are targets chosen randomly?

Wait a minute… this is NOZDORMU who betrayed Paladin… and started working for priest… Because priest wouldn’t have a legendary dragon otherwise… MURZOND contains the exact same letters as NOZDORMU… And has the same stats… Is also a dragon (duh)… and it messes with time…
    …That’s kind of disturbing…

…Or Blizzard just isn’t creative, and this is just a false alarm…

I have seen a lot of people debating about battlecries with this card, but it does not repeat battlecries. This is not a mis-wording or a mistake by the developers, it is a mechanic that battlecries only trigger when played from hand.

As a lover of control strategies and general value, I’m not disappointed. This would be especially nice to get from Galakrond’s hero power.

This is actually a nice card. I can see this being used for whenever your opponent is doing anything huge, such as playing a Big minion or doing a Combo. So Rouges and Mages hate this card, whilst other control decks also hate this card. It’s a refreshing answer for priest. Good Job, Priest. 4 Stars.

Why is Onyxia the only classic legendary dragon without reprint in DoD? I thought it’ll be priest legendary since it’s the only slot left.

So basically a card to watch out for after you play things like deathrattles or board clear cards.

What if you play it after a Hero Card? Even if you skip the Battlecry Text you gain an upgraded HP. Versus a Tempo Deck is nuts after your oponent plays a bunch of cards… Or your oponent summons mana-cheated minions in 1 turn. Play against Priest will be ver very tricky after T8. I don’t see a way to bait this card…

This is broken. Why is it 8/8 ? It’s a dragon. With such a battlecry and a tag that’s so relevant to the metagame right now, it really, REALLY didn’t need this. Not excited to face it on the battlefield. 5/5

8 Mana 8/8 Dragon. Battlecry: Summon 4 random Demons. Equip a 5/2 claw.

It’s Time Warp with a few restrictions! 😀

I don’t think it will replay battlecries

Riiight. Tess doesnt do that and this probably works the same way… :/ But it’s still pretty strong.

Tess has “replay” as a keyword, this card says “play”, so might trigger battlecries.

It doesn’t. It was shown in the Final Card Reveal Stream and “played” a Siamat without Battlecry.

I already hate playing against Priest BS and will generally just insta-concede in casual games… this isn’t making me any better disposed towards them 😐

You could always copy dr. Boom in the warrior matchup

Come turn 8 against priest, people are going to have to be careful about what they play every turn.

Now more than ever it will be important not to over commit, cause the priest just gets everything and an 8/8 dragon

Priest doesn’t really get “everything the opponent plays”, just a fraction as it won’t trigger battlecries and the spells will have random targets. Your opponent can also make the first move with those cards before you so yeah.. I think this card isn’t nearly as good as people think. It’s an 8/8 that doesn’t affect board aside from board clear spells (in which case it affects itself as well..) and maybe taunt minions. Of course if you get to play something like the Warlock legendary dragon from this it’s very powerful but how often will stuff like that really happen?

        “it won’t trigger battlecries”
        the card says it would

Yeah, the lack of board interaction could be a problem. I think where this card could shine is against control or maybe midrange matchups.

I don’t think this is meant to be a bug flashy card like Zulgin or Tess Greymane, but copying one or two big minions or useful spells could be impactful.

How often is your situation identical to your opponent? Not very often… The opponent is going to play answers to your plays, that means that using this card isn’t going to give you nearly as much benefit as the opponent got from the cards he played aside from the extra 8/8 dragon you get on board with this. This also doesn’t use battlecries and the targets are random with spells or so I’d think? So I definitely wouldn’t call this card all that good, it’s extremely situational and it doesn’t exactly put your opponent into disadvantage.

The only actually powerful thing this card does is that it can use hero cards, especially Galakrond cards. But even then, do you get the battlecries or not? If not.. it’s also terrible.

3 stars, hardly better than Tess or Talanji.

But you also get the minions your opp played last turn I guess. So if you know your opp is runing i.e. Ysera you can also have ysera + 8/8 dragon body for one mana less. And in the worst case? If your opp. plays a removal you don’t need it and even if he got a very terrible minion on turn 8 (like 3/3) a 8/8+ 3/3 for 8 mana would be awesome. Don’t see much downsides.

Na pior das hipóteses você jagaria isto para invocar mais lacaios. Bom para se transformar no Galakrond inimigo e ativar o Battlecry deles. Fantástico.

Since it says play (and not just summon), I would assume it will trigger battlecries with random targets. In that case, this is scary looking card with very high potential, useful in almost any scenario. Probably one of the most powerfull dragon legendaries.

      Video shows no battlecry

Typical hearthstone wording inconsistency then. It’s a bummer. Still a solid card, but without battlecries it’s a lot less powerful and swingy.

    • Joeydungee
      December 4, 2019 at 3:44 AM

And it has similar wording to Tess Greymane, who also skips battlecries

The targets are random right? but yeah dragon control priest, maybe with galakrond.

And its probably called temporus the infinite or something
    5/5
