Playing this in the mech deck will ruin the mechs in your kangor’s pool… twice, and the reborn quest deck doesn’t appear to be going anywhere. 1/5
Paladin desperately needs more Quest support. One reborn card isn’t enough. On the other hand, this could be run in other decks and it’s quite good. 4/5
Yay a completable paladin quest
Are you guys ready for a “Micro Machines” Paladin deck? Cuz I am.
This is just a good card, some Paladin decks will want this even if they’re not running the Paladin quest. 5/5
Mirco Mummy! It’s a Mech Paladin Version for Grandmummy. Boy is this card going to see play. 5 Stars.
Nice card and I doubt it will be played on turn 2 if reborn pally is going to mix in mechs galvinizer has priority also you don’t want to risk a lot of little mechs dieing as pally because of KEA.
Overall it’s a nice card and works well with mechanical egg if you can’t magnetize something to it. Also take note as a 1 attack this card can be tutored out by the other pally spell.
This card will NEVER be played in a dedicated mech paladin deck. It has terrible synergy with KEA. It’s not magnetic, it’s not a taunt, etc. Putting it into the deck would require cutting some other card. It would make the deck worse.
This card is intended for Quest Paladin. I don’t have any feelings about whether that deck will work or not work. But it won’t see play in any other Paladin deck.
The thing is yes this has bad synergy with KEA but the problem is I play a mech pally deck and maybe 1/10 games I’ve ever gotten to use the card because either I’m killing enemy to fast, I never draw it, or I’m dying before I ever do get to draw it. Overall KEA just takes up a card slot most of the time. That’s why I figure this might appear in a mash up of reborn and mech considering tagging something like mechanical egg with the clone has value. We haven’t actually seen that many reborn cards useable with pally and considering this is one that can be tutored and is a mech.
If we look at the stats on HSR, we see that KEA is one of the best cards in the deck. We don’t cut it for this card.
I’m just stating it from my experience playing the deck yes it has a lot of value but silence is weakness of the deck and unless you actually draw the card it’s dead weight. Like said 1/10 games I actually play it or get a reason to play it rest of the time it just sits in my deck.
Perhaps a new paly mech deck will pop up that is more aggressive? An aggro mech deck would surely use this (think of a deck similar to bomb hunter), as it gives a sticky body that you can magnetize onto, as well as a positive effect to follow up your mech a roo
why mech…. i am so tired of thsi mother kissing mechs, on my mother kissing games
Blizzard sure does love their 2 mana 2/2s this set. I guess it makes sense to understate a minion with reborn. I really like the paladin quest, so I hope this sees play
This card is without doubt a fiver. The quest hero power will make two of these to buff each other. I would hope for some more reborn minions with slightly spicier synergies with the quest hero power. This is nice but will it make you win the game… not really. Hope we get at least a 3 drop.
Cool stuff for new Quest Paladin, but imagine you play the Quest on turn 1. Then if you play Micro Mummy on turn 2, you lose its +1/+1 effect… but still 5/5 LuL
Easy, add a Wisp and problem solved, 6/5
I suspect the ideal Quest Paladin curve will be something like Crystology on T1, Quest + Murmy on T2, and then either this guy plus another 1 drop on T3 or a Call to Adventure. In other words: with all these tutor effects, I think Quest Paladin is going to be less focused on spitting out reborn minions as fast as possible so to race for quest completion and more focused on tempo and value.
This minion is a nice addition to Emperor Wraps Paladin. It is rather cheap, will help with completion of the Quest, acts as a soft Taunt and improves friendly minions if left unchecked. It’s good, but not broken. And its Mech tag could be relevant too ! 5/5
the first and biggest question here: does it the reborned one keep magnetics? i guess not. But with Kangors it does right, when you play this first and than magnetize it. this is a really good card. even if this sticks only one turn its 2/2 worth of stats. But as long as this is a mech, you will not play this on turn 2 as a single minion. 5/5
No, when it dies and resurrects it loses all buffs (just like if you were to Target this with emperor wraps. It would be a 2/2, but then it would only be a 1/1 after it reborns)
