Cards Relating to Megafin
Unite the Murlocs Type: Spell - Cost: 1 Quest: Summon 8 Murlocs. Reward: Megafin. |
“Call in the Finishers” would generate 4 towards this quest, right? The card reads, “Summon four 1.1 murlocs”.
Yes, that should be right.
Is this battlecry going to give you murlocs from other classes? like nepty?
if yes… the question is… what kind of secret will the new 2.2 murloc discover XD
Will it make you burn a card as it fills your hand?
Yes, I think so, similar to other cards that add things to your hand like Neptulon and Nefarian. That’s why you hope for a Tinyfin. It’s a good thing that Murlocs are generally so low-cost!
Murlocs are cheap u will more than likely not burn a card unless u use Ur last 5 mana for this card
Do effects like Finja and Tide hunter add to the murloc summon count?
Probably. It says summon a murloc in tide hunter and finjas text.
Think so, since it says “summon”. Finja summons from your deck 😉
Can megafin give you more megafins? Or can neptulon and murloc knight give you megafin?
No, it’s a Token card. Token cards can only be generated by effects that specify it. They can add a “Deathrattle: Add a Megafin to your hand” if they want, but I doubt it.
However, you can create copies with “Gang Up”, “Shadowcaster” and other copy effect.
Also, this expansion, it seems like Priest card “Convert” might actually see play, as getting one of these out for 7 mana and bypassing the Quest is pretty insane.
The Hungry Crab just increased its appetite
but its mean ur next card will be discarded right?
There’s no way you get this guy out by turn 5…
You will always be playing him with a few extra mana, meaning you can drop another small murloc to avoid the draw loss.
Only if you end your turn without playing a card for the rest of the 0-5 mana you have
5 mana 8/8 ..seems balanced..GJ blizzard
It’s a Quest reward. Quest rewards are supposed to be over-the-top
it’s more likely (all the murlocs you played cost) + 1 mana (the quest cost) + 5 mana 8.8 that gives you random murlocs, so yeah it is balanced 🙂
