This synergizes well with time warp quests

At first I thought this was only okay because it cannot save you and it technically doesn’t prevent anything, but there’s a secret stacking combo that seems interesting. Having this played first and then a counterspell/spellbender will make up for mana bind’s, but you’ll also be forced to run both secrets and have them risk triggering on something crappy, like the mentioned secrets.

How does this work with flare? Will you get a copy of flare? Or will the secret vecome useless?

Cool though the card may be hard to see it as better than counterspell in most situations – any removal spell you’d rather counter and save your minions than let go off and get to do the same to your opponent. Same with spells that create minions – much as I’d love stealing say a muster for battle, I’m much happier denying the board presence to my opponent.

How does this card work with itself? Can you cast a copy of the spell while it is already in play or would it act as playing another copy of the same secret? Cause if you can duplicate this over and over, that would be a nasty Yogg fuel

Whenever your *opponent* casts a spell – like all secrets.

I somehow knew Mage would get this secret sooner or later.
Didn’t think you’d get cost reduction, but on the other hand, that’s what makes it a Mirror Image counterpart.

It IS really good – can’t save you from lethal spell damage and doesn’t counter spells, but still:

    – It reveals secrets to you.
    – It can prevent your opponent from getting upper hand by board sweep followed by several strong minions next turn.
    – Your minions die to spot removal – payback time!
    – 10 mana tide-turning Kazakus spell -> tide turned back for 0 mana.

overall good, but can’t save you like counter spell, so in dying situation it’s pretty useless

I really like this card. Hopefully, secret mage will become a strong and viable deck.

You’re not getting it for free. You’re not getting it for “free” either. You pay a card and 3 mana for it.
