Pretty cool card… but random legendary cards are just not that great as before. Just a fun meme card.
Ehh. we’ll see if Shaman will actually play Murlocs though.
3 Stars.
My murloc deck without repeated cards is very grateful!
So, at the very least this should give you 1 random legendary, right? The text says “a friendly Murloc” not “another friendly Murloc” so it should count itself. That at least seems reasonable, considering that it also has vanilla stats for a 3 drop AND a relevant tribal tag.

Play this and trade in my entire board for potential pay off 4 turns from now when I can play my clunky high cost garbage or play bloodlust and kill people?
If I have a wide board where this can be useful the LAST thing I want to do is trade, especially when chances are the trades are bad since murlocs only have on average like 2 or 3 attack.
This is way better than Brightwing so that’s something
Make this a tier 6 battlegrounds card pls.
Well, if nothing else, can be fun for some extra value when you get it from the murloc quest.
This is a sleeper. I got to legend with a Murloc Dragon Shaman two seasons ago. The biggest issue with Murloc Shaman was that when Tastyfin rotated, it lacked resource generation.
But Scargil is more powerful than ever in this build. Expensive murlocs make it shine. Skyfins, Navigators, Fishy Flyers, and this is another bigger Murloc + resource generation.
I think it could work. I really want another cool Murloc for Shaman. Would love to see true Murloc Shaman be viable, which is easier to play and more consistent than Murloc Dragon Shaman.
Am I missing something? This seems incredibly counter productive and bad.
Nope, you’re right! lol.
What a weird and pointless card.
It’s an epic, feels about right.
Typically not trading murlocs in an aggressive archetype and the legendaries don’t get discounted and could be bad. So would rather just play something good and consistent.
