This is underrated. It’s about as good as evil miscreant (a 2/2 weapon and a 1/4 body are worth the same). Livewire lance can’t be bounced like miscreant can, but it can be upgraded, and doesn’t required Combo.

Great value. Put it in control warrior if the meta gets aggro. 4/5

I think people are underrating this card. Simple pulling 1 Kobold Lackey and you now have a potential of 6 damage, and that’s not bad considering I have another Lackey to pull from this. 3/5.

Lackeys are good enough to make up for the mediocre tempo this card represents, but this doesn’t fit in with any and all game plans. This is probably auto-include in quest warrior, but not a good fit for Control or Bomb Warrior. 3/5

Veeerrry Interesting Card for Warrior. This is deferentially going to boost up the capability More Aggressive Tempo and Midrange Warrior decks out there. I Still don’t think that ??? is going to be used, but Livewire Lance is an Expectation. We’ve seen players use EVIL Cable Rat, and now we get to see Tempo and Midrange Warriors use Livewire Lance. 4 Stars, however, just because Warrior Decks come in all shapes and sizes, and right now he is more dominant as a Control-style deck. This card will Defentially be used for Next year if it doesn’t see play at all.

Shoot, I forgot to say that Improve Morale won’t see play as of the Uldum’s Expansion, for what I assume.

Still no news on the new lackeys? That is what they said, wasn’t it, New lackeys added with each expansion this cycle?
If the lackey pool stays the same, the new generators are going to push those decks over the top I think.

Fiery War Axe is better lol

Not only this benefits new warrior quest, but also can push aggro/lackey deck in the future.

Dmg on its own yes it’s better take into account the Lackeys not so much. Pull the kobald lackey and you just equaled the max dmg of fiery. And you still have another lackey to get. Get the rush and tag the other lackey you still got same dmg. One of 2 Lackeys will equal out the dmg but considering you have one that discovers a card and one that gives a 2 cost value of this will eclipse fiery war axe. The benefits to axe is fact that at 3 dmg and 3 cost it can at least remove certain particular nuisances on its own. However fiery war axe doesn’t really see much play compared to the wrench at the moment.

I think one of the reasons warrior is getting this is they are trying to push Lackeys for most decks since they probably have plans for more cards requiring Lackeys to use powers. And let’s face it the warrior lackey generator is rather bad compared to some others. 1 dmg to enemy minion and if it survives get a lackey it’s only use is a cheap way to give execute a target. This is a weapon that gives a lackey each time attacks and weapons can be upgraded. It would be nice though if warrior got a card like rogues do that lets them get either a random weapon or generate a weapon from a discover. But probably limit it to only warrior weapons could even have it able to generate weapons from wild. It does go with theme a bit since this would be an old civilization they have stuff that’s no longer available in standard as treasure.

Weapon warrior meme lives on, keep it up to my expectations blizzard.

Would you lose one power from a weapon for lackey generation? The obvious comparison is the 3/2 fiery war axe with no ability. When considering this we have to take in account the huge amount of strong 2 drops in this expansion and especially cards like Underbelly Angler which you want to get rid of as soon as possible.

That being said.. why is Warrior of all classes even getting this card? Rogue or Shaman would want this way more (Can’t give this to warlock).. Really weird desing especially since this weapon also sucks with the quest compared to the other options.

If I desinged a weapon for warrior now it would be a 3 (or 4) mana 2/3 weapon with “when you deal damage with this gain as much armor” which would help the quest warrior to stay alive a bit, it would have nice synergy with weapon buff too which is something warrior has some access to.

Weird, lack of synergy, there are better options. 2/5

It’s not a card for control warrior, nor is the quest. Booth are midrange/agro type cards.

I dont know what blizzard masterminds think.. Really.. This card seems completely useless.. Dont stick with taunts synergy, with quest not too.. Still war axe is better than this card on turn 3.. You can play war axe to kill something and get progress in the quest.. This card is really slow and rng.. And you hasent synergy with something.. I expecting some low cost weapon for the quest but blizzard is so ahead.. They continue to reveal cards without imagination.. The same and the same and the same without synergy

very slow. the random lackey hardly helps it, its no evil miscreant

Miscreant is 4 mana and requires combo. This is 3 and doesn’t need set up. Miscreant gives you a 1/4 body that doesn’t impact the board very much when you play it. This weapon gives you 4 damage over 2 turns. With upgrade this will give you even more lackeys. On a base level this seems infinitely better than the rouge card.

miscreant is 3 mana, and the combo is almost guaranteed in rogue anyway, so it doesn’t detract from the power much. Also, miscreant gives you the two lackeys immediately whereas this may only give 1 if your opponent oozes it.

On the other hand, this provides decent early board control (although it is a bit weak at 2 attack), whereas miscreant’s body is less relevant and is an excellent evolve target.

        All in all, 3/5

On second thoughts, this has good quest synergy as an early weapon, so perhaps that can push it to 3.5/5

Miscreant got nerfed dude, quite a while ago… you’re right about ooze though.

The nerf to Miscreant was to change it’s *health* from five to four. It’s mana cost is still three.

Do you even play the game?

            July 26, 2019 at 7:07 AM

Umm…the miscreant nerf was -1 health. It costs 3 mana. The combo activation is not that big of a setback. If it wants to be a really decent early game control tool it should have been a 3/2 or cost 2 mana as most annoying 2 and 3 drops got 3 health.

A 2/2 weapon is worth as much as (and is faster than) a 1/4 body. The second lackey comes 1 turn later and can be stopped by weapon removal. But the card doesn’t need a combo. It can’t be bounced, but can be upgraded. Which is not as good. Not quite as good as miscreant, but still very good, and def not slow compared to a combo 3mana 1/4.

    Should have been a 2 mana 2/2 or 3 mana 3/2
